About a month had passed and the season was approaching quickly. Liv's job started to get more time consuming so she was at the office just about every weekday. Jimmy had his workouts to go to, so it was nice that they got to do their own things throughout the day.
"Babe?" Jimmy said as he walked into Liv's house. He set his keys on the counter and made his way upstairs. "Liv?" He said again. No answer.
He opened her bedroom door and walked in and she was asleep, still in her work clothes. He shook his head and laughed at her. He lightly shook her until she stirred in her sleep.
"Jimmy?" She said sound confused. "What time is it?"
"It's a little after 6. How long you been sleeping?" He said.
"Probably a couple of hours. It was a long day." She said as she sat up and rubbed her eyes. "How was your day?"
"It was good." He said quietly. "A lot better now that I'm here though." Liv cracked a smile at how corny he was being.
The pair made their way into the kitchen to start dinner. They were making bacon, eggs, toast, and hash-browns. A classic "breakfast for dinner", because it was one of those days.
After they were done cooking they made a pallet in the floor out of pillows and blankets and watched movies while they ate.
"I'm going back to Minnesota in a couple of weeks." Jimmy said as the first movie ended. Liv raised her head up off of his chest and frowned.
"So you aren't getting your trade?" She asked sadly. He shook his head no and Liv's sad expression intensified.
"I'm sorry, baby. The front office is kinda being difficult to work with. It feels like they didn't even try." He looked almost as sad as she did. Liv latched her arms around Jimmy and they fell over onto the pallet just holding each other.

"I don't want you to leave." Liv said with tears flowing from her eyes. Jimmy wiped away all that he could and smiled sadly.
"I'm sorry, but I've got to go. I'm already late, baby." He said as a single tear fell down his face. Liv hugged him tightly and helped him into the car. "Bye Liv."
Bye Jimmy." She said and with that he drove off to the airport. It was early Sunday morning, so Liv had the whole day to mope around and be sad. Jimmy had left today, DeAndre had left the day before, so she really had no friends other than Talia from work.
Liv spent the whole day trying to get a head on work, so she would be prepared for training camp to start tomorrow. She was so distracted, so she didn't really get much done.

Just landed, Miss u already baby ):Liv almost started crying. She was super lonely already and he had only been gone a few hours at most.
To: Jimmy
Miss you bunches. Call me later if you get the chance. 🖤Liv wiped her tears away and started to clean up her work space. She was already caught up, so she figured she'd stop for the day and just curl up in bed to watch reruns of her favorite shows.

"You did what?!" Liv screamed over the phone."I told them I'm not coming in today. We had a short conversation when I got here and it made me mad. They didn't even try Liv." He said. He sounded tired and a little bit sad.
"Jimmy, I understand that, but isn't this your job. You've always said how work comes first, and how you should never take this for granted. I just want to make sure that you're not going to regret this." Liv said nervously. The line was silent for a few seconds.
