•Your POV•
I was an idiot, I should have kept my pregnancy a surprise from Lilith, because she will be really mad at me now for lying to her, and I brought it all upon myself, I knew, I wasn't trying to deny that for a second. I saw Abel playing with Nova and Sammy B looking lost, standing in the hallway, feeling confused as to how all of this happened. This family was now as much my family as it was Lilith's, and I wouldn't have it any other way, no, I wouldn't even choose the readily flirty Connor over Lilith. I hadn't seen Lilith as my love of my life since a few months ago now, when we rekindled our high school sweetheart love and it became something much bigger than we had ever thought it would be before and I smiled knowingly. I couldn't believe I had gotten married to Lilith. If anyone had told me in high school that I'd get married to Lilith Villareal, I would have sighed, shook my head and denied it stoutly, but as it was, I was married to Lilith and there was nothing I could do to change that. She and I were both two in one heart and I very nearly couldn't believe this. This seemed too perfect for her broken dream. For what was now our broken dream. But Sammy B still fought with Cody and Abel still toyed with the idea of love. Phoenix was still the child of Ashley Collins and Abel, and Ashley was the mum who'd left Phoenix because she wasn't ready to be a mother.I looked at Nova, who was running round the house naked on a sugar high, Sammy B asking Lilith for help with his maths homework and Phoenix raging at something once again, probably being cooped up inside or one of those other things that teenagers found rage inducing at the present moment.
This was my dream, the broken dream Lilith and the rest of the Villareal household, including me, shared in together, and this was only the beginning of things that I had to put up with. Lilith was phoning up her relatives after having finished helping her son with his homework, making sure all of the Callery-Aiken clan, as they were called by the main family, knew about her wedding to me. I was in a lot of pain as I got up and ran straight to the toilet to throw up in it, it was the only place I could go, even though it was probably one of the least hygienic places to do so. I covered my mouth and was ready to throw up again.
I put on a jacket that was my favourite brand of all of them, afterwards, I got really snuggly and comfortable on the bed Lilith and I shared together and started to flick through my phone which had on it my Simstagram, and just tapped through my feed, then turned off my phone. I need to teach Nova how to talk. Being a parent is difficult sometimes.
I smiled as best I could as I leant down to teach a blonde Nova how to talk via some flashcards, and both of us smiled as she babbled what sounded like random gibberish, and all the words she'd known before were added to the equation as I taught her new words.
"Mhm." I showed another card. "What's this?"
"Ca....Ca....Carrrr..."
"Yes, you're right. A car." I smiled and showed her another card. "What's this?"
"Woowoos?"
"What?" I laughed. "Who taught you that?"
"Phoe!"
I looked at the card. Nova was correct that it was the icon for woohoo. A little heart with big eyes and a smile that was on fire. "Of course your older cousin taught you that."
"Woowoos!"
"Silly Nova." I began to roughhouse her.
"Hehe!"
"Naughty baby!" I lectured when she smacked me on the head.
"No more talkie!"
I put her down. "Funny bunny." I smiled.
I turned around when I heard a Dutch voice greet me. It was Lilith's.
"Hello there Cutie."
"Woowoos!" Nova babbled.
"Who taught you that, baby?" Lilith asked.
"Phoe!"
"I'll have a talk with her later. How are you Cutie?"
"Okay I guess. The baby is kicking and I'm waking up with morning sickness each morning. I know it's nearly over, thank Heavens."
Nova toddled out the room. "Uncle Wabel?"
"Yeah?"
"Is Mama pregnant?"
"Uhh.."
