Chapter One

I woke up to the sound of arguing of two voices, "great there at it again" I thought standing up from the ground, yep I don't have a bed my shitty parents sold it for money, I walked over to my closet and pulled out my black sweater jeans and put them on. I made sure my tail fit through the hole I made in the jeans so I could move my tail around, you see I'm half human and half monster my father is a wolf monster and my mothers a human, so I look like a human but I have the senses of a wolf I also have canines and claws as well as wolf ears and a wolf tail, I walked to the corner of my room and picked up my school bag and walked out of my room. I walked down a small hall and turned the corner, I saw my dad drinking a beer watching Tv while I heard loud crying coming from the bathroom, I sighed and walked out of the house quietly not making a noise much to my delight, I began walking through the thick forest heading to town to go to school then work.

It took me a few minutes but I was finally in front of the school I went to, I entered and turned to the left to my classroom at a slow pace, once I reached the class I grabbed the door knob twisted it and opened the door and entered my classroom, when I entered the class and teacher turned and look at my direction

Alphys: oh... (Y-Y/N)...! We thought you weren't coming today! We're doing group projects this month... Uhhhh... so, walk around and find a partner, ok?

I then nodded to her and looked at Tem. They shook there head to me saying they had a partner, I then went and asked the rest of the class but they all had partners, my last option was Noelle I walked up to her seat.

Noelle: Hey, (Y/N)! What's up? Didja lose your pencil again? Here, you want the candy-cane one or the one with the light on it?

You: no thank you, I was wondering if I could be your partner?

Noelle: Huh? You want to be partners? Ummm... Sorry... Berdly already asked me... But I could ask Ms. Alphys if we could make a group of 3

I nodded to her suggestion

Noelle: Ok, I'll ask! Miss Alphys Umm, is it ok if we have a group of 3

Berdly: Hey! What! No! I do not approve this! ABORT!!

Noelle: What? B-but (Y/N) doesn't have a...

Alphys: Noelle, what were you saying?

Berdly: She was just saying we're FINE being alone!

Noelle: A-actually, I just wanted to know if...

Alphys: Noelle, can you PLEASE SPEAK UP?

The door then slammed open with great force hurting my ears making them go against my head, I turned to the door to see Susie a.k.a my crush

Alphys: h...hi Susie

Susie: ...am I late?

Alphys: ohh, n-no! You're fine! W-we were just, uh... ch-choosing partners for the next group project, and. Umm, Susie, you're with (Y/N)!

Susie: ... great

Alphys: N-now that everyone's here, I'll write the assignment!

Alphys then walked to the chalkboard getting ready to write on the board

Alphys: Uh... H-has anyone seen the chalk? This is the third time it's gone missing, and... Y-you all know I can't start class without some!

Alphys: H-how about this? If no one speaks up... E-everyone gets in trouble! A... anyone? P... please?

Noelle: Hey, there might be a box in the supply closet... Miss Alphys, why don't Susie and I...

Alphys: G-good idea, Noelle! Susie s-since you came in last... Why don't you go get it for me...?

Susie: ... whatever

Susie then walked out of the classroom slamming the door closed, I cringed at the sound and my ears went back to their normal position

Alphys: And (Y... (Y/N)... Can you go with her and make sure she... Um, actually gets it? And, um stays out of trouble...? Thanks (Y/N)! See you later

I nodded to Alphys I may have looked calm but I was internally screaming of being alone with my crush, I walked out of the class room and looked down the hall to see Susie look like she was chomping down on a piece of chalk, she then turned around to face me

Susie: ... (Y/N). ... Didn't see you there. ...hey. You didn't just see anything just now, did you?

You: O-of course not

Susie: Good. Know let's actually go get that chalk

Susie then started walking ahead with me following close behind, it was a long quite walk to the closet but you didn't mind, you thought the silence was peaceful and comforting

Susie: Well, here's the closet. Too bad... We were just starting to have fun.

Susie then open the door but all was inside was darkness, I then felt the whole atmosphere change into a dark one, and it seemed like the bright yellow halls turned a dark grey, me and Susie then stepped backwards.

Susie: ... Hey, (Y/N), is it me, or... Is it REALLY dark in there?

You: I-it's not just you

Susie: What's the holdup, (Y/N)? Are you gonna go in or what?

Even though I was scared I've been more scared before, so I let out a shaky sigh and slowly walked up to the door, I then turned around to look at Susie with my ears flat against my head and my tail between my shaking legs

You: A-are you coming...

Susie: Y-yeah I'm... right behind you

I then gave her a reassuring smile and entered into the dark room, I then heard Susie stop behind me, on the floor was a line of scattered paper

Susie: Let's try to find a light switch.

Susie then walked ahead of me with me following behind, I then put my hands in front of me to find the light switch or find a wall

Susie: That's weird... I can't find a switch. Guess it's further in...

Susie then walked in even deeper in the room and I ran up behind her, I still had an uneasy feeling with me ears and tail still in the same position

Susie: Uhhh... kind of big for a closet, huh...? You'd think we'd have reached the end by now...

Susie and I then continued walking forward but the walk seemed a lot longer then before and my unease grew more

Susie: ... Hey, (Y/N). I think this closet's, uhh... Broken. There aren't any walls. ... Well, we've worked hard enough. If Alphys wants chalk so bad, she can get it herself. Let's split

You: Y-yeah let's leave

Me and Susie then started walking towards the entrance but before we could exit the door slammed shut, while it did I let out a little squeak in surprise

Susie: Wh-what the...!?

Susie then walked up to the door and started banging on it, I started shaking even more while hyperventilating

Susie: Hey, this isn't funny! LET US OUT! LET USE...

Before Susie could finish her yell the papers beneath our feet started shaking

Susie: ...?

Susie then backed up until she was directly in front of me

Susie: The floor, it's...!

Then the papers began falling down, me and Susie then stepped backwards until I was at the end of papers, Susie was one step from coming in contact with my chest, but before she could the papers we were standing on fell down with us not following far behind them falling down, down and down,
