Chapter Four

Ralsei: See that HEART, (Y/N)? That's your SOUL, the culmination of your being! Within, it holds your WILL... your COMPASSION... ... and the FATE of the world. If it gets hit, you and your friends will lose HP. If everyone's HP reaches 0, we'll lose the battle. So, please take care to avoid the enemy's attack. Ready? Let's try dodging!

I moved my SOUL around dodging the ball's that tried to hit me, but I lost focus and one ball hit me it did one damage

Ralsei: Ouch, it's ok, (Y/N)! You're still learning! Anyhow after the enemy attacks, it's our turn, (Y/N)! First, I'll teach you how to FIGHT. Though FIGHTING is unnecessary in this world... there's no harm in a thorough lesson! Let's try FIGHTING!

I was unsure first but I eventually attacked the Ralsei dummy. I slashed my dagger at the dummy doing 100 damage

Ralsei: W-wow, (Y/N)! That was an amazing attack! Have you done this before or something...? Ok, next let's try DEFENDING.

"Thank god he didn't make me answer" I thought

Ralsei: simply (defend), and the enemy's attack will hurt you less... Not only that, but you'll also gather TP! (Watch the orange big bar on the left! I'll explain it next!)

I nodded at Ralsei and brought my two daggers in front of me acting as a shield. I then noticed the TP bar went from 12% to 20%

Ralsei: Great job, (Y/N)! Now that you've gathered TP- How about spending that TP on one of my SPELLS? Because you hit the enemy enough, it got TIRED. Now, if I use my PACIFY spell on it... It'll fall asleep, and we'll win peacefully!

I got out of my defensive stance and asked Ralsei to use the Pacify spell on Ralsei dummy

Ralsei: Great, (Y/N)! We would have won the battle by now! Now I have just a little more to teach you! Acting! Through this, even the most violent enemies... Can be defeated through various Acts of kindness! (Y/N), though it's just a dummy, why not give it a HUG?

I looked at the dummy and walked over to it and hugged it, it wasn't a comfortable hug but it was alright

Ralsei: Aww, that's great, (Y/N)! Each enemy has different ACTs that satisfy them. When an enemy is satisfied, it's name turns YELLOW. When that happens, you can defeat it by SPARING it! If we SPARE all the enemies we meet, we'll never have to FIGHT!

I nodded at Ralsei and looked again through the ACTs I could do. I saw that I could hug Ralsei, I started running towards him and engulfed him in a hug, lifting him up a bit

Ralsei: (Y... (Y/N)!? Ummm, I don't think, um... This is what you're supposed to be doing. ...but...

You: I don't care if I'm not supposed to do this. Your to adorable not to hug

I then walked back to my position with a blushing Ralsei trying to cover he's face with he's scarf which earned a chuckle from me. I then spared the dummy

Ralsei: Great job, (Y/N)! That'd be the end in a real battle! I'm really happy I had the chance to teach you, (Y/N)!

Me and Ralsei then got out of battle and I put my daggers away in my belt

Ralsei: oh, that was fun! You're a wonderful student, (Y/N)! ... and, er, in case you ever need a refresher, I... Here! I wrote a Manual for you and Susie!

You: thank you, Ralsei I appreciate it!

I then put the Manual in a pocket I just happen to find. I then continued walking down a corridor that had a big opened golden door Ralsei looked pretty worried
