The characters were waiting for the next scene when

THE STORY SO FAR

For thousand of years the Republic has govern the galaxy.
RWBY was surprised at that, a whole galaxy under one banner, it was intense.
The government had band all militaries out of fear that this would cause wars. The only army type of people were militias and police.
"It makes sense" Jaune said, " there were bound to be rifts so they decided no one should be able to hold power.

"But wouldn't that be harder to stop pirates." Ruby said

However many federations were allowed to arm there ships with weapons and armies due to pirate attacks

"Oh well there's my answer." Ruby relented

However through time there were three major divisions in the government. The inner. mid, and outer rim worlds. Overtime however there were rifts and corruption in the government and people, mainly between the inner and outer rim galaxies with a few of the mid getting sandwiched in the middle.
"It's seems no matter what there will never be equality." Blake said
"Hey don't worry about it, sure things aren't perfect but there getting better." Yang said. As they talked Pyrrha noticed Jaune seem to realize something
"Is everything okay Jaune." Pyrrha asked concerned
"Call me crazy... But the screen said that Raxis had secretly joined the CIS, right." Jaune asked.

"Yeah so." Yang asked

"So don't you think..." Jaune began to speak

The inner rim viewed the outer rims as less due to there position, location, and appearance. Many outer rim leaders would try to change this but due to corruption in the senate it would never come to pass.

"See, don't you guys see what's going on." Jaune said mad he got interrupted.

"You don't think." Blake said back

"Yes I do." Jaune said back back

"Wait you don't mean." Weiss spoke up

However the outer rim had one thing the inner galaxies didn't, better resources and business. Due to the outer rim having a better business the inner began to tax many free zones from the outer and mid rim. This lead to an even bigger hatred between the two and many planets unable to get needed supplies due to the federations not wanting to pay for the taxes.

"Great, I don't know whats worse, politics or the discrimination." Blake said

"Why cant anyone be happy with what they have." Ruby stated frustrated.

"What's worse is that the council would probably due this to the settlements." Glynda stated

"To true." Ozpin said.

Than it happened. Naboo, a single planet managed to defeat the trade federation, a major corporation that had a seat on the senate and technically had a standing army while naboo had a police force. This was the first time a single planet was able to defeat a major government figure that controlled most of the business decisions in the government and had the only army in the government.

"That also makes sense, If something that could affect the government and had an army was defeated by police you would think that it was weak." Weiss stated.

"It would also cause people to think they should be leading themselves because why should they let the weak oppressing force oppress them." Blake said
