// Katie's POV //

"why didn't you come to me sweetie?" i ask her as i grab her hand. "because it could have gotten worse, he could have killed me. he threatened to enough." she couldn't make eye contact with me. "tay, i'm always gonna be here for you ok?" i told her. it breaks my heart knowing all of this. hearing the pain in her voice as she tells me it. the twins were still hurt by it, seeing their big sister go thru that. but they didn't experience it like she did.

"i wanna adopt the twins sweetie, seeings as they are only 5. but since you're 17 and your birthday is coming soon i wanted to make sure its ok that i don't adopt you." i ask her. the twins need someone to look after them after tay graduates.

// Taylor's POV //

she wants to adopt the twins! that's amazing. once school is over i'm getting out of this hell. no one knows this yet, but i got offered a singing scholarship to University of California-Berkley. "of course i'm ok with it katie." i tell her. Grayson and the girls come back. "katie, can we go shopping?" they asked her. "sure girlies, i'll be back later tay. love you" she tells me.

now its just me and gray. "lovebug, i have to tell you something" he said grabbing my hand. (ugh my heart melts everytime he calls me lovebug) "yes?" he was scaring me. he had this sad look on his face. "brayden cheated on you...with kayleigh" (no no no no. why is this happening and with her out of all people) he pulled out his phone and played a recording. i hear a girl moaning. and i don't need to hear the rest.
