Lily Davidson was a 7th grader. She had black short hair, cute big eyes, and a great big smile. She was kind to everyone and curious about the things around her. She was open-minded and smart. She loved sports and music. Her parents were really proud of her. Lily always had a fear of getting trapped in a building, but she knew she was going to get out somehow.

One day she was getting late after her after-school art lessons. Then she remembered about her book that she checked out from the library. She went upstairs to check in the school library since her last period was in the library. She went to the 3rd floor in the library. She searched the whole library but she didn't find it. "Do you need any help?" asked Ms. Kelly, the librarian. Lily told her what had happened. She told Lily to look for it tomorrow since the school was going to close soon. Ms. Kelly told her that she had to close the library and that she had to leave.

Lily left and went to her 7th-period classroom next. The door was open and Lily entered. As she was looking for the book in her class, she noticed it was getting really late. She got out of the classroom without finding the book. While she was walking down the hallway, she noticed that there was no one in the hallways, all so quiet. It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. She got scared. She hurried to a door and tried to exit, but the door wasn't opening. She ran to the entrance. The door there wasn't opening either. She tried again and again.

She got really upset and her head started to hurt. She was crying now. She tried to calm herself: deep breaths in and out. She thought to herself, if she goes missing then it's sure that her parents will call the cops. So I am safe and just have to wait a bit, she thought to herself. Her head started to hurt so badly. Her eyes felt so heavy that she accidentally closed her eyes and went to sleep. She had a dream where she was still trapped in the school and while she was sitting in a chair she saw a creepy guy. He had a long beard and dirty teeth and was wearing dirty and torn clothes. She saw that he was running towards her quickly. She saw an angel. The angel took her outside to her house safely. Lily suddenly woke up from her awful dream. She was all sweaty and was breathing heavily. She drank some water. She checked her watch it was about 5:45 already. She calmed herself down again. After a while, she heard a chair being dragged in the hallways, it hurt her ears. She didn't really know if it was a chair something else but, she knew it was irritating. She walked towards the hallways and looked to the left and right of the hallways, no one was there but the noise was still there! She got so creeped out that she went to the nearest classroom and closed the door shut. She wondered if she will actually see a creepy man in the hallways as she did in her dream.

Now she noticed how the noise stopped. Her heart was beating a mile a minute. She heard footsteps going down the hallways. Lily was crying. A lot of things were going through her mind like what if she dies of a heart attack, and who will be there for her parents if she dies. Then she heard another noise, it was the police! She didn't move. She heard the doors being opened. Then she heard her parents calling her name out loud. She let out a sigh of relief. Lily opened the door and saw her parents. She ran to her parents and hugged them tight with tears running down her cheeks. Then she thought to herself, the angel she saw in her dream was her parents and the police. She told the police about the noises she heard. They searched the whole school but they found nobody inside. Lily was horrified to hear that. Lily went home after that terrible incident. After that, whenever she hears something disturbing and distracting, she gets flashbacks of that traumatic event. Sometimes, thoughts still linger about the odd noises she heard that day, questioning what they were.
