-Chapter 1-(The Invasion Trilogy)
Introduction
Hey, it's Cassidy. Cassidy Harlow. You wanna know what I hate most in my life right now? The one thing that I can't stand, that makes me so angry and fed up with life that sometimes I just wanna quit?
Well, here it is.
I hate being bullied.
No one likes to be bullied I'm sure. Especially not dorky girls like me who care more about outer space than makeup or what to wear the next day for school. For girls like me, sometimes we get picked on a lot, and that sucks. But I bet some of you don't get picked on at school AND at home.
See the thing I hate about getting bullied day in and day out is...my brother Derek is one of the bullies. You'd think that after having a stressful day at school that he'd ease up on pushing me around, treating me like dust. But nope. I don't get a break. If anything, Derek is the worst bully out of everyone in my high school. He's a football jock and has a beautiful girlfriend. Meanwhile I'm stuck being a loner and have had zero relationship experience whatsoever.
Not that I really care anyways. I want to have a boyfriend when I can enjoy him and I want to find true love, not waste my time on people who don't really care about me. But anyways, Derek and his girlfriend treat me like crap at home too. They always shove me, call me a dork or a freak, and take my glasses off, tossing them a few feet away. I'm always crawling for about fifteen minutes trying to find them afterwards. And what are Derek and Lisa doing? Laughing their butts off at me.
My parents don't do much about my bullying situation since they're always working. Derek gets off Scott-free since my mom thinks he's a perfect little angel who wouldn't hurt a fly, much less his younger sister. They reached out to the principal once to try and get the kids to stop harassing me, but it only worked for a week. Then they were right back at it again.
So yeah, that pretty much sums up my life. I'm just your average dorky girl in high school. I get bullied just because I love science and staring up at the stars. My life sounds pretty interesting right? Nah, not really.
But that's only the very minimum that I'm going to tell you about my life for now. There's more stuff too, but it gets pretty intense after this point. So if you don't like to read about intense stuff, I suggest you leave right now. If you do like intense stuff, then stick around! You're gonna love this.
Well, I guess that's it. If you're staying then, good luck! And enjoy the story of how my life got so crazy. If you left by now, well, I guess you're missing out.
