-Alexis-

The day started off normal... well normal to her, she woke up and checked the time to see it was already 4 in the afternoon. She shoved her face into her pillow cursing at herself for sleeping in so late. While getting up from her bed, Alexis stretched and yawned to try and get all of the sleep out of her before going over to her room mate's room next door to her's in their tiny apartment. When she walked in, she chuckled a little bit. There was her friend, Eden, wrapped up in her blankets snuggled up on her bed out like a light. Alexis made her way over to her side deciding that it was time for her to get up as well.

"Hey, wake up you lazy ass" she mumbled while poking her friend in the side.

"Nooo, 5 more minutessss" The blanket burrito groaned. Alexis rolled her eyes and walked out to the kitchen and came back no less than 15 seconds later with something in her hands.

"Damn Eden, guess I'm going to have to eat all of these cookies myself" Alexis put a cookie up to her mouth before taking a huge bite out of it with a satisfying crunch. 'Wow these are good' she thought to herself as she finished up the other cookie.

Eden sat up and grumpily snatched the bag of cookies away from Alexis while grumbling to herself and sitting up 

"get your own damn cookies... and why did you wake me up so early?" Eden asked while continuing to stuff her mouth with cookies.

"It's almost 4:20 in the afternoon. This is not early..." Alexis raised an eyebrow bewildered at her friend's response. 'does she really think this is early? you've got to be kidding me-'  Her thoughts were cut off when Eden spoke again.

"Wait, shit. Today is Saturday right?" Eden asked while pulling her phone out trying to check the date only to be met with a black screen indicating that her phone was dead. She cursed under her breath before looking at Alexis hopefully "So is it?" She asked hoping that her friend would answer her question.

"huh? Oh yeah. Today is Saturday. But why does that matter-" Eden suddenly shot up from her bed and went through her closet to change into clothes to go out in. Alexis watched her in complete confusion trying to figure out was so important about today. She had never seen Eden this frantic since... well since they were in high school waiting for college acceptance letters.

"Eden what the he-" She was once again cut off by Eden, making her mentally curse and take a deep breath to relax. It worked, but she soon felt herself getting pushed out of the doorway and back into the hallway.

"We need to get ready now. And I mean like now, you'll remember what we're doing in a few so like.... go get ready we need to leave in like an hour to go across town"

"Eden-" SLAM She had closed the door before Alexis had anything to say leaving the older girl fuming in the hallway being forced to get read not even knowing where or what they were going to.

"I swear to god I'm gonna smack her one day"

"we drove half way across fucking town... TO GO TO A FUCKING FRAT PARTY?" Alexis yelled in the car clearly pissed off which cause Eden to laugh nervously.

"H-hey! calm down... its just for fun haha... plus you never leave campus or the dorm and I really worry about you whenever I'm not around because I KNOW you do not like socializing with people-"

"Which is why I don't go to parties."

"True. You have a point... But that doesn't matter right now! What matters is that you have fun, I have fun and we make more friends." Eden turned and smiled at Alexis hoping she was able to lighten the mood a little more. Although she looked pissed off, Alexis knew Eden was right. Maybe she needed to let loose a little bit and be a little more social and not snap at people.

"Alright fine... but don't you dare replace me" Eden lifted her right hand and used her left to draw an 'x' above the area of her heart.

"I promise" Alexis smiled before getting out of the car and stretching her legs and getting her student ID out like Eden had told her to. The two of them walked towards the line at the front door and got in within minutes. Loud music was blasting throughout the house and there were streamers and confetti pieces scattered everywhere. A girl wearing a lacy top walked over to the two of them smiled and offered them drinks and a shot glass each. The two girls took the shot and used whatever drink the girl gave the =m to use as a chaser.

"Welcome to the party!" She shouted over the music "If you need anything, I run the bar and I'm set up over there where that group is! You guys seem like new faces so if you need anyone to hang out with- well you can always find me!" before they could even get a name out of her, she had disappeared into the crowd. Alexis looked around slightly amazed by the sheer amount of people who were able to fit inside the house. "Hey! I'm gonna go find some people to talk with! you should too!!" it was Eden's turn to shout over the music. 

"Yeah! go ahead! I'm gonna just hang out down here!"  she shouted back. The two friends parted ways to experience the party more hands on which resulted in many, many actions they would regret in the morning.

A hour and ten shots later, Alexis was a giggling mess and dancing as if she knew everyone at the party. She was dancing with a frat boy she had just met when Eden appeared again with pink cheeks and a slightly slurred voice.

"Hey! We're playing truth or dare over by the bar come join us!!" just like earlier today, Alexis was dragged off and away from her new "friend" without being able to say anything and argue against Eden. When she got to the group, she immediately noticed the girl they had met earlier who was now sitting on some guy's lap.

"Guys this is Alexis~ Alexis, these are new friends" Eden's voice was beyond slurred indicating how drunk she really was. The group murmured a few hellos and hi's before the game resumed with Alexis being the new target for the all too familiar game.

"So Alexis... Truth or dare?" One of the members of the group asked.

If she were sober, she probably wouldn't be in this position and would avoid the question by either leaving the party or simply dismissing it, but no. Drunk Alexis was overflowing with confidence which let the next word slip out of her mouth with ease.

"Dare"

The 'Dare Giver' smirked at her, "I like the confidence... I dare you to get a tattoo"
