chapter 7: i must protect him

Sora's POV:

After several days of living with Sasuke as a ninja wolf. I was allowed to go on some missions with Kakashi. As i was at the training grounds with Sasuke, i saw a summoning hawk fly over head squawking at me. I get up and go over to Sasuke and nudge his hand. When he feels my cold nose on his had he looms down at me with a questioning look. "The Hokage needs us." Sasuke nodded his head and we walked to the Hokage tower. I was now a bit bigger than i was before when i first met team 7.

After a few minutes we're addicted at the hokage's office. I closed at the door (becausr i don't have hands to knock with) and waited till i heard a quiet come in. Sasuke opened the door and in front of us were Kakashi and an ANBU. When i saw the ANBU i knew that this mission was serious. I went next to Kakashi and say town looking away the Hokage. He looked at me and and then at Kakashi. "I have an C-Rank mission for you. You will need to go and escort a group of Genin to Suna." Kakashi nodded along with me and Sasuke. "Send them in" calls the hokage and add tools a group of 3 Genin were sent into the office. There were 3 boys and 1 girl. The first boy is the tallest. He has short black spikey hair with green eyes. The second boy had shot brown hair with a golden ambet color for his eyes. The girl had medium long black hair with blue eyes. If i take a look at the two ravenettes they look like siblings. The genin shouldnt say anything as they looked at me with a look that i couldn't describe. I flicked my ear and looked to Kakashi for permission to speak. He gave me a look saying that he waded thinking of a yes or no answer. After a moment he nodded his head. Before i could speak the girl asked a question that touched me off. "Why do you have an animal in here!? She could have rabies!!" I hosted at the girl but it didn't seem to bother her. I had my wings tucked in and she didn't even seem to notice them. "I'm here because I'm a ninja wolf. I'm not just an animal. So if you think that im done kind of toy you can toss around you better think again. Because if you piss me off then i can become your worst nightmare." At the end i made my voice more inhumane so they got the hint not to mess with me. I could tell the girl wanted to say something but she but her tongue. Sasuke came up and petty my head and i noticed the girl have hearts in her eyes as she fangirled. I looked at her and growled stepping in front of Sasuke. The girl glared at me with full on hatred. "Now that everyone is here why don't you guys introduce yourselves?" They Suna group nodded as the black haired boy walked up. "My name is Daichi (grand first son)." I go up to him and sniff his hand. Everyone was surprised at my actions. They were even more surprised that i nuzzled his hand and had his hand on my head. I wasnt paying attention to anything else. All i heard from the other two was that the brunette boy was named Hikaru (shining brilliance) and the girls name was Nariko (thunder child).

We were on our way to Suna. The girl has been clinging to Sasuke like any normal fangirl. I was slowly getting annoyed with this girl. I seen that she was holding onto Sasuke's arm and i growled at her startling her enough to where she let go. I then walked between him and her and walked. The girl was red with anger and she fumed at me. "What do you think your doing mutt?!?! Snarling at me like that?!?! Im your client your supposed to protect me not attack me!!" I growled lightly as i tried to ignore her. Notice the word tried. After a few minutes i turned around at her and snarled at her. "SHUT YOUR ANNOYING MOUTH!! MY GOD!! YOUR SO ANNOYING!! ALL YOUR DOING IS FANGIRLING OVER SASUKE!! YOU DONT TRULY LOVE HIM YOU JUST WANT TO HAVE HIS BABIES SO YOU CAN BECOME MORE POPULAR!! Well guess what? IT AINT GONNA HAPPEN!! SO SHUT YOUR MOUTH BEFORE I REALLY HURT YOU!!" This was the first time ive even blown up like this. And i even let them see my wings by this time the girl just sneered at me but the look in her eyes showed that she was afraid. Satisfied with my work i turned around and walked away. She then smirked behind me mischiviously(sp?). "What are you gonna do about it? DEMON~." What did she just call me? I thought as i stopped in my tracks. Both Kakashi and Sasuke looked afraid and backed away slowly. I noticed that the other two boys also backed away. I turned to look at her and i made sure she saw my eyes. My eyes had turned from their normal color to a piercing, glowing red. My ears are back and my fangs enlarged. I was a special type of wolf. Nobody has ever felt this kind of power from me except Zabuza and Haku. Even they knew when back away. The girl decided that shed try to be top dog and stay there. When i had fully shifted my fur had changed to pitch black with red marking with my red eyes. I had a scar on my wings that glowed white. They were the kanji for 'Demon'. She then looked at me with fear.

I watched as she cowered in fear. When i was satisfied I went back to normal. "This is taking too long. Everyone touch a part of me." Everyone exxept the girl touched me. "If you want to be left here then by all means be my guest. Or would you rather go home?" She came a hesitantly touched a part of my wing. I then teleported us to the gates of Suna. We entered and went to the Kage tower. The kage thanked us and sent us off. When i looked over in the corner i saw a kid with red hair and black bags around his eyes with beautiful turquoise eyes. I walked over to the kid and then i saw sand fly at me. I saw the kage look at him with hatred and disgust. I did what i would naturally do if something like this happened. I took my wing and allowed the sand to hit it. I yelped amd the kage looked at me with the same look he gave to the child. "Why is there a demon in my village?" He said. He said each word nothing but hatred. I didnt pay any attention to what the others said but i looked at the boy who looked at me with shock. He brought his sand back to him and i walked closer. I got down on my belly and crawled my way over showing that i was no threat. I took my nose and slightly touched his hand. I felt him flinch at the touch bit then relax. I then started to nuzzle his side and made him giggle. The kage swiftly got up and stomped over to us about to hit the boy. I knew what he was about to do so i opened my wings and growled dangerously at him as i protected the boy. "Get this thing out of here." He then walked back over to the desk and sat down. The little boy held on to me with trembling hands. I laid down and curled myself around him as a protective barrier. The jonin and genin with me weren't surprised since i was always protective over children. When it was time to leave i got up and started walking away. Out of nowhere i felt something grab me. And by how tiny the hands were i knew it was the child. I turned around amd saw him about to cry. My ears went down and i licked the few tears rolling down his face and i whimpered feeling guilty for leaving him here. Then Kakashi and Sasuke talked to each other. I didnt know what they were talking about but then i felt Sasuke and Kakashi's hands on my back. I looked up and Kakashi spoke to me. "Of its ok with the Kazekage. Me and Sasuke have come to am agreement that you can stay here in Suna and stay with the kid." I look up quickly my ears perked and my tail swaying side to side happily. Kakashi then looked to the Kazekage. "Is this alright with you Lord Kazekage?" He looked at me and then back at Kakashi. He sighed and looked at me as i looked at him with pleading eyes. He eventually nodded his head. He didnt say any words but right then i was happy i started acting like a puppy which caused Kakashi to laugh and Sasuke to snicker. I ran up to the kid and hauled him o to my shoulders. "Whats your name kid?" I asked. He looked at me shocked but then smiled at me. "My name is Gaara!"

Hey guys!! A little bit of a change in the story but i really liked this thought. I hope you do too. And sorry for the late update. I may end up posting another part either today tomorrow or the next day. But im not sure. But this plot caught my interest more than the other did so i added it to the story.
