Flight 301 departing from Dallas, Texas to Seoul, Korea is now boarding.
Gathering up her suitcases and boarding pass, Y/n went to join the slowly increasing line. After finishing her studies in professional writing and English literature, she decided to start off her career as an author early by writing her very first novel. The soon to be 21 years old, was very eager to write but found herself experiencing a major case of writer's block, which led to her sudden but much-needed trip to Korea.
"Boarding pass, please" the flight attendant called out to her, holding out his hand.
Y/n quickly reached into her bag and pulled out her boarding pass, then handed it to the man. He swiped it through the machine, ripped the unnecessary part off, then handed her the part with her seat number.
"Thank you for flying with Korean Air. Hope you enjoy your flight."
Y/n simply smiled in response, then boarded the plane.
Please fasten your seatbelts, keep your tray tables stowed away, and turn off all cellular devices. We are now ready to take off.
As she sat down in her seat, she pulled out her phone to text her parents a quick goodbye before shutting the device off. Sighing to herself, she began to wonder about the unknown that awaited her in Seoul and was soon lulled to sleep.
Hello and Welcome to Korea. Please fasten your seatbelts, and keep your tray tables stowed away as we are now preparing for landing. Thank you for flying with Korean Air, We hope you had a wonderful flight.
Slowly stretching, Y/n woke up from her peaceful slumber. She pulled out her phone and checked the time.
12:30p.m.
"You must have been very tired since you slept the whole flight"
A bit startled by the sudden conversation, Y/n turned towards the elderly Korean woman sitting beside her. She nodded her head in response to the woman's statement.
"You look very young. What brings you to Korea?" the woman asked, a gentle smile gracing her features.
"I was hoping to write and publish a book but lacked ideas, so I decided to visit here to find inspiration" Y/n answered.
"나는 네가 찾고있는 것을 찾을 것이라고 확신한다(naneun nega chajgoissneun geos-eul chaj-eul geos-ilago hwagsinhanda)."
Y/n looked at the woman in confusion hoping to get an explanation, but she simply smiled at her. Deciding to focus on anything else but the seemingly strange woman sitting beside her, she pulled out a book and read it until the plane landed.
