school with skies

first day

Ava's pov
today's my first day of college classes i've already moved in and such but today's the office first day of classes, I wake up and it's august 2nd so it's still hot out so i put my hair in messy loose french braids grab some ripped jean high waisted shorts and a plain black crop top with my red old school high top vans one i was ready i grabbed my back pack and plugged my headphones in and started playing lil durks new album that just came out and the first song that comes on is called "rockstar ft. lil skies" idk who that is but his voice is nice and this is by far already my favorite song...
I get to my first class and sit in the first seat i see it's in the middle of the class so i'm not to obvious and out, the professor gets there and all the seats are taken besides one next to me, right as the teacher starts to call out names the name Kimetrius Foose and no one answers so he says it again
"Kimetrius Foose?"
"I'm here sorry Call me Skies please" says a boy around my age with braids and a lot of tattoos he's wearing grey sweatpants and chains and piercings and a white tank top he takes a seat next to me
"Skies your late? reasoning." asks the professor
"I couldn't find the class I'm sorry it won't happen again" He says apologizing while sitting in the chair next to me
"It's okay if it does just explain why thank you" he says and carry's on calling out names after about five more names he says mine
"Ava McKnight?"
"That's me" i say raising my hand and people look at me and i look down and keep tapping my pencil after more names the teacher carry's on with to class and just explains the grading and year schedule for this class and it's time for the next class i stand up and start to walk and that Kimetrius kid grabs me
"Hey what class do you have next i don't really know my way around" he says with a small smile
"math you?"
"me too can you show me?"
"ya let's go" i say laughing i took him to the class and we sat across the room from each other and my friend sarah is in there
"hey party tonight we going?" she asks me
"first college party when we are ACTUALLY in college i think sooo" i say smirking...

END OF DAY
Me and sarah are on our way back to the dorm when some boys walk up to us
"hey ladies party tonight you coming"
"of course" i say
"great bring ur friends" one says winking and walking away i decided we should take a short nap then go tonight best be as hyped up as it's been said
