As the hour of darkness relentlessly overwhelmed the crying sky the moment Levi followed his now former fiancee all throughout her reckless driving to explained everything and asked for forgiveness and for a second chance. Witnessing the heart-wrecking incident with his own pair of steely orbs as he became terrified when she almost got hit by a high-speeding truck but she turned the wheel before she even collide with it only to find out that her car spin around against the slickly road as it crashes with a pole of a street light with huge impact.
Anguish soon over took the stoic man's emotion as he agape to [Name]'s accident. He dialed the emergency number as quickly as possible to tend to her condition, followed by contacting her manager's phone.
When the rescuers opened the car on where Aria is, Levi didn't take what he saw as she was bathing with her own pool of ruby-like fluids. Her white dress was turned into a shades of red as she was caught in between the slammed seat on her body against the steering wheel due to the heavy impact she badly received. He didn't even recognize her peach-blonde hair for it was halfway covered with thick blood that streamed down her temples. Her stomach was literally churning for the bleeding was abruptly flowing down her feet.
Anger subsequently filled his sanity as he blames and scolds himself internally. He already had the best he could ever imagine. She loves him so deeply with every fiber of her being and yet he threw her value away like a child who got bored with his old toy.
He was just an ordinary man with personal needs and weaknesses. It was only a result of a temporary desire as the cheating started when he was trying to tend his manly needs for their three months of no communication. The day when he called Aria was the only time they talked after those times of empty nights. It was even unexpected cause he didn't know that her ex-fiancè's concert was near to their taping area.
After having her back again to his side, something inside him tells that he should stop his behavior for he will regret it later on his entire life so he decided to cut ties with his mistress but only to find out that his other woman already developed feelings towards him, as she did anything she can to broke them apart.
The torn woman was immediately delivered to the emergency room of the hospital as Hanji soon followed after them. The nurses motioned for Levi to sit down somewhere outside the operation area for it will be sensitive.
They waited long enough for Hanji to break the awkward silence that filled their atmosphere. She informed him that her talent undergone into public bullying on the exact night of her birthday because of the kissing picture of them was shown on the screen that made her fans went berserk unto her even before she already planned to informed them about her relationship status.
Guilt seeps deeply on his very being for he was at fault as to why all of this occurred to her though he's good at silhouetting his current emotion through his stoic features. She already have the best future that lies ahead of her and yet he destroyed everything about her being. He constantly blames himself for pushing Aria into the abyss of her own damnation.
The prolonged agony was soon tended when the doctor came out of the emergency room. The next thing was what the doctor announced. No. Fate would be too kind to her if she died as easy as that. He followed-up that the patient miraculously survived the accident and was only taking a rest and asked if they could leave her alone just for this night for she can't be stressed and needed to take a rest.
They visited her again the next day. She was finally awake and sitting on the bed as she stares blankly into nowhere in particular. She doesn't know where she's staring as half of her face was covered with bandages. Hanji and Levi were terrified as to why she had a lot of it. The doctor soon came and release all the pieces of cloth that covered her once angelic face. Her blue eyes that was once filled with colors and hope was now dull and lusterless, completely devoid of any emotion. She asked if the doctor already released the bandages cause she doesn't seem to perceive any light in the windows of her soul. The doctor was just silent, as she already know the answer why. He soon announced that her baby didn't survived the accident as Levi was taken aback to what baby he was talking about. Hanji rummaged through her bag and handed something on Levi.
It was Aria's pregnancy tester that resulted into positive. His whole body trembles as he broke down to cover his muffled cries. It was soon followed by the explanation of the doctor. She was two months pregnant and a sensitive carrier. The life forming inside her really can't survive for it was extremely dangerous to her body to carry a child due to having a weak heart and her asphyxia became fatal. The accident was also the main cause that triggered this tragedy.
Rage subsequently filled up her sanity as she started to scream inside her room. She doesn't have a single care on whatever could happen to her physicals as long as the baby was safe. She was constantly wailing as Hanji came to her side to tend her fragile figure. It was soon followed by a familiar voice that called her name. Disgust, wrath and vengeance occupied her thoughts soon as she heard the voice that causes all of this to happen. She asked what fault she committed as to why he did that kind of thing to her. She blame him for everything.
He can't take it. He can't take it anymore. He loves her with every fiber of his being. It was the first time he regret all the decision he made yet he can't blame anyone but him for he knows he was the main reason of this tragedy. He exchanged an infinite relationship for a temporary desire. His baby also suffered from what he did. Everything flashes back in his memory. The time that they first met, those times that they were together, their first night, their first fight, those times that he needed her and those times that she supported him on every way she can. Now, its time for him to return the favor.
He explained everything to her and asked for a second chance. He already gave up his career and started taking care of her everyday in the hospital. He tried and tried everyday to court her and get her trust back again. He tried to pick up all the broken pieces of her being even though how many times she said no. She was the only woman he loves this much. He doesn't want to see her suffering again and made a decision that will turn everything into its proper place once more.
He made an appointment with her doctor and asked everything he needed to know. Hanji asked him if he was a hundred percent sure of the decision he was about to commit. Aria soon delivered to the operation room without her knowing. The following day change everything back again. She was filled once more with bandages as the doctor removed the pieces of it.
Rays of light soon filled her vision as her line of sight finally perceived things that was once taken away from her. She became ecstatic the moment she saw the brunette woman with glasses again. Her once blue orbs was now occupied with a pair of steel orbs. She wonder why Hanji was the only one beside her after the successful operation of an eye transplant to her. She wanted to see the man who took care of her in times of her needs. She asked where is he now to tell how grateful she was and how his efforts of him came to convince her once lost trust to him. She's willing to give him his well-deserved second chance.
The brunette woman suddenly became quiet and awkward silence filled the whole room as she agape when she decoded the meaning of their stillness. Tears build up in the corner of her newly replaced eye, threatening at any moment to fall.
The doctor eventually explained everything. Levi sacrificed his own pair of optics for the sake of her. He didn't love any woman than Aria so he did everything he could to redeem himself to the one he truly loves, thinking that this is the only way to atone for his sins, to obtain her trust again, and to prove himself once more. Thereafter the transplant, Levi's body break down for he cannot withstand the operation and died in the due process.
Agony aggravates her whole existence as she followed a never-ending why and how. It felt like a fire rages through her chest due to the pain she's suffering. She loses everything she already have and when the right time came to give him his well-deserved forgiveness, in her blink of an eye, he's already gone. Life cruelty never ceases to give her a bang in the heart. Its already too late as everything went ambiguous.
Her life was full of ambiguity.
