Three figures in black cloaks run through the forest, jumping over logs and dodging arrows. Behind them five guards holding bows chase them, tripping over roots and logs. Another guard jumps over the five guards and starts catching up to the figures. The tallest figure leads the others through the woods. The five guards are far behind the three now but the other guard is catching up fast. He pulls a bow off his back and shoots at their cloaks trying to snag one but still the three figures run. The figure in the lead shouts at the others to hurry, he sounds like he's maybe 15 or 16 years old. One of the other figures says something back to him but the guard is not close enough to hear. The same figure slows down a little and runs in a different direction than the others, the guard follows. The figure turns their head to make sure the guard followed. Their hood mostly covers their eyes but the guard takes one look at the clasp on the cloak and his eyes narrow.

"The Moonlark!" He spats at her,

She laughs, "I don't know why you try so hard newbie!" she shouts back at him smirking playfully. The Moonlark pulls out her bow and shoots something in the trees above. A net comes down on top of the new guard but he pulls a dagger out of his pocket and cuts it open. He continues to chase after her now with a smirk on his face.

"Hey that was a new net!" Moonlark yells at him. She's starting to breath heavy and was now getting irritated.

"You can't run forever Moonlark, your starting to get tired!" the guard shoots back.

She's breathing as harder now and is struggling to stay ahead,"I never get tired!" she tries to smirk but she knows soon she'll be caught. Her cloak is almost within grabbing distance of the guard and she's starting to look worried. The guard sticks his hand out, grabbing at her cloak. Then he smirks at her as he pulls a arrow out of his bow quiver and tries to hook it onto her cloak. After trying and failing several times he finally succeeds and pulls the cloak to his hand. He pulls Moonlark to a stop and grabs her arms and ties them behind her back. He holds her arms tight so she can't run away and turns her around in the direction of the castle to take her to the dungeon.

"Don't try anything Missy. This 'newbie' finally caught you." he says teasingly as she glares daggers at him.

Ash's POV

"Come on Ash she said she would meet us back here as soon as she shook him! Something has to be wrong!" Vylad says as I get up from the ground of the clearing we've been waiting in.

"Vylad calm down, Skylar's fine she probably just lead him really far away and is on her way back right now." I say as I look up at him in his spot high up in the trees. He had changed out of his black cloak and was wearing his hunter green cloak again as usual so I could barely see him. I had also changed back into my usual dark fuschia cloak.

"What was that?"

"Vylad chill out it was probably just a bird." I say rolling my eyes.

"Unless there are birds that can talk around here it wasn't a bird, I heard human voices. Shhh!" I climb up in to a nearby tree and see Vylad climbing from tree to tree, making his way over to my tree. We look down into the clearing as two struggling figures walk into the light. I breath in sharply and start to slip off my branch in surprise. Vylad catches my arm and pulls me back onto the branch giving me an "I told you so."  look.
