I was walking through the hallway of Vineyard mental asylum, I am a nurse there. Most of the time i'm here, i'm never really able to see my family. "Violet!" I turned my head to see James running towards me. "What is it, James?" I asked looking up from my clipboard. "Doctor Little wanted you to come to his office!" He said in a worried tone. "Oh great..." I mumbled "What does he want now?" I asked. He shrugged. I groaned before I started heading the opposite direction to Doctor Little's office. I opened the door to his office. "Ah, Hello Violet! I have good news!" He said smiling. "Please take a seat!" He said pointing to one of his old antique chairs. I sat down and smiled. "Doctor Little, what could possibly be the good news?"
"I got you a patient!" He said handing me a piece of paper. "The paper has all the information you need! Tomorrow you will meet him!" Doctor Little smiled. "Thank you, sir!" I smiled before getting up and leaving out his office door. I groaned. Just great... Now I have more work! I thought, I looked at the paper. "Carl Miles..." I mumbled. I felt like I heard that name before, but I wasn't exactly sure. I looked up at the clock. 12:50 AM. It was time to go. I grabbed my bag from the office and left out the door.
When I got in my car, I started it. Duh. But before I left, I looked up at a window. There was a man he was waving at me. I turned my head and left.

I opened the door to my house as my kids looked at me from the couch. "Mom, your home!" My oldest daughter, Emily said smiling. "Everyone else is asleep..." She mumbled. "Did your father make you dinner?" I asked in a concerned voice. She looked down. "I made everyone mac n cheese..."
"That-"
"Mom!"
"Your father needs to learn to do something besides sit around and sleep!" I stormed up to the bedroom. "RICHARD!" I shouted angrily, but there was no reply. I busted the door open, but no one was in there. "Mom..." I heard Emily coming up the stairs. "Dads at the bar again..." She looked down, like a sad puppy, as if she did something wrong. "Honey, Lock the door and go to bed,"
"Ok mom" I heard Emily walk back downstairs and lay on the couch. I went in my room and laid down.
I didn't sleep that night.
