[of maknae lines, lectures and strange boy]

Kevin pulls the curtains over, the sliding sound that the curtain drape makes soothes Kevin's ears. The evening sun beams its light straight into the room, Kevin feels refreshed.

"Lovely evening!" He preaches as he begin to unzip his luggage. He does not bring too much clothes for he is very diligent in doing his laundry -to the point his former roommate says he is obsessed. But the things that are weighing his luggages are the books, daily necessities and foods.

"Ey, where are them?" Kevin raises his brows, he glances to the clock -forty-five minutes pass four already yet there are no sign of his roommates. Kevin takes this chance to stroll around the room and then he realizes that the tables are already occupied with books and stationeries.

"Wow, they give free reference books? I never know they are so generous?" Kevin muses as he scans each items on the table. The lockers too, seem untouched yet very clean. The past owner must've taken care of it dearly.

As Kevin heads back to his place, someone pushes the door and steps in. Kevin stares at the newcomer alarmed by his sudden appearance.

A small boy steps in, he is careful while pulling his luggage -in case it may trample on him. "Hii!!" The boy loudly greets, with one hand waves to Kevin and a deep dimple pokes out from his left cheek.

Kevin is not expecting a cheery greeting from him, seeing how timid he is and he looks like, way younger than Kevin since he has a small frame and thin figure -looks like he can be swept by the wind if a storm comes.

"Let me guess, you are Kevin Moon! Right?" He offers a handshake to Kevin who is dumbstruck.

Kevin, being a nice and polite guy he is immediately accepted the small guy handshake. "Yes..." and Kevin does not even has a chance to ask anything, the smaller boy enumerates literally everything that Kevin is curious.

"My name is Ji Changmin, your new roommate! My temporary class will be D3P2, what about you?"

Of course, Changmin's burning enthusiasm creeps Kevin. How a boy can be that excited?? All Kevin feel is tired twenty-four slash seven slash three six five.

"Uh, mine is D3P8."

That guy, Changmin pouts after knowing Kevin is in P8, not P2 like him. "Aww, but I guess I will see you around during lecture?"

Kevin anxiously nods. Lecture will be the only class that they may have in common. They are informed that all D3 students will need to share one hall for the art class since there are not enough place and lecturer for them.

Changmin expressed his big, bright smile to Kevin once again before completely focusing on his belongings. Kevin also goes back to his bed and starts reorganizing the books.

But, there are two beds left - and those beds seem to be belonged to someone.

"Ah, those beds.." Changmin mutters softly while placing his luggage on the bed. "The one who works at the registration said one is senior's and another one is currently away."

"Away?"

Changmin nods. "He is representing our college in state baseball tournament."

Kevin nods, well quite interesting. "Then, where is the senior?"

Changmin shrugs. "I think they are meeting each other somewhere? Or going out? I think it's a norm to do that here."

Kevin slowly nods while reorganizing his locker. Their room is quite close with the cafeteria - he can hear the blasting music and students' chitty chatters from the cafeteria.

Bomin blinks a few times before re-entering his assigned room. He re-checks the room number just in case he has mistakenly climbs the wrong floor. But he is not. V1-8, the room's number, floor and even block is correct.

"What the hell?" The tall boy cannot help but to cuss after seeing the room's condition. There are pillow cottons everywhere on the floor and three completely disheveled boys on the bed, each of them have pillows in their hands. One of them even almost hit the person next to him - only if Bomin does not come.

"Hey, sorry if we shocked you!" A pink-haired boy comes to greet Bomin at the door. He is smiling widely like a kid, there is fluffy cotton on his hair too -perhaps from the pillow fight they have.

"Come in! We  are just messing around." Another boy, with a slightly darker toned skin yet still appear charming to him also welcome him into the room. He kindly take some of Bomin light belongings into the room and another one, as pale as ghost helps Bomin to put his bag pack on the table.

Bomin is still wondering, how on earth those boys get close? It is only the first few hours of their admission day yet they already make the room a mess!

"We have known each other for...how long is it?" The tanned boy nudges other boy beside him.

The boy groans while calculating something with his fingers. "Eleven years!" He exclaims while trying to force a smile.

Bomin's jaw dropped as he is informed, eleven years already?! Wow, now he wonder how they survive for each other's stupidity. Bomin thinks his head is spinning at that thought.

"My name is Eric, this is Sunwoo and Yongseung. Don't mind Yongseung, he is always sour but he is nice! And Sunwoo is always salty but you can rely on him!!" The pink haired one introduces them one by one.

"Yeah, salty. Hope you can stay energetic like Eric." Sunwoo rolls his eyes. "Guys, clean up this mess!" Sunwoo picks a small pillow then throw it onto the bed and also adjusting the mattress in process.

"Here is your bed! I already set the cover and the owl plushie is a gift from us!" Eric hyperly pulls Bomin to his bed and shows him a grey, medium-sized owl plushie.

Bomin feels nervous and also confused but the fact they welcomed him with open arms make him feels good too...he is welcomed, at least.

"CONGRATULATIONSㅡ"

"Shut up Hong Joochan!"

With that, the said boy shut his mouth before he could belt the next lyrics. Donghyun, the one who stopped him only could sigh. But not long after that the latter started singing again and belted high note in the middle of cafeteria.

"Hong Joochan!" Donghyun snapped and Joochan finally shut his mouth. "Seriously, we're in cafeteria! People are watching." Donghyun hissed.

Joochan shrugged. "Obviously. They have eyes." His nonchakant tone annoyed Donghyun even more and the latter got smacked in the back.

"Guys, don't fight. We are here to eat. PEACEFULLY." A raspy voiced boy reminded.

"Let them be, Jaehyun. They won't listen to you anyway." Another one piped out while grabbing his glass.

The one called Jaehyun rolled his eyes. "Whatever Jibeom. Just eat and shut up."

"That's what I intended to do anyway."

Jaehyun shook his head. He had zero energy to deal with them so yeah, just let them be. He wondered what sin he had committed that he had to stay with the three idiots again for this semester. As if two previous semesters aren't enough.

Jaehyun shrugged and turned his focus to the instant noodle.
