Chapter 10

'Okay Lisa, breath, you can do this, you have to control yourself.'

After dinner, everything seemed to go back to normal, it was like the incident in my bedroom never happened. I truly missed my mothers cooking, and it seemed like jennie enjoyed it too, seeing how she devoured almost everything. After we were done eating, Jennie decided to take a shower, leaving me alone in my room. I flopped myself on my bed and as the silence took over, so did my racing thoughts. The memory of the incident instantly resurfaced in my mind. The image of the cat eyed beauty, staring at me with so much intensity causes my cheeks to heat up and my heart to beat wildly.

'What is happening?'

I turn my head to the other side of my bed and began to imagine Jennie laying there beside me, smiling fondly towards me. With wide eyes, I quickly grab my pillow and place it on my face. I begin to scream in frustration into it, trying to muffle the sound. I remove the pillow and began to breathe heavily. This shouldn't be an issue, we use to sleep beside each other all the time, why is this any different?

'You already know why Lis,' I annoyingly say to myself causing me to groan in annoyance. I sit up and slap both of my cheeks repeatedly in between my words,

"Pull. yourself. together. woman." I quickly get off of my bed and march my way towards my mirror. I narrow my eyes at myself and sharply point at my reflection,

"Control yourself. You are Lalisa Manoban and Manobans have self control!" I mutter to myself. Realizing my stupidity, I begin to chuckle and walk towards my bed,

'Great, now you've gone crazy,'

'And it's all because of the cat eyed beauty.'

Wanting to distract myself from my racing thoughts I begin to grab my computer and skype with Jisoo and Chae. I flop down on my stomach on my bed and place the computer infront of me. I open it and click on the skype app, hoping and praying that they were online. I smile wide seeing that Jisoo was online and begin to quickly call her. After a few rings, her face pops up on my screen.

"Unnieeee!" I drag out, using my aeygo. She hisses and covers her ears at my high pitched voice,

"Yah!" I laugh as she narrows her eyes at me. I shrug and smile innocently, causing her to roll her eyes,

"Idiot." She mutters. I roll my head back and laugh,

"Yeah but you miss me," I reply. She waves her hand, dismissing me,

"Yeah, yeah." She sarcastically replies. I smile wide and ask,

"How are you girls?" She smiles back,

"We're good! Cheayoung hasn't killed me yet so that's a success." I shake my head and chuckle,

"It's your fault," She narrows her eyes at me and points at me,

"Don't start," she threatens. I chuckle and nod, lifting my hands up in surrender, before I can say anything I hear Chae enter the room,

"Is that Lisa and Jennie?" I smile and wave as Chae pops her head into the camera. She smiles back and waves,

"Hey Lisa! Where's Jennie Unnie?" She asks. I nonchalantly reply,

"She's in the shower," I roll my eyes and groan in annoyance, seeing their smirking faces,

"Wow, already? Damn Lisa you just arrived and you already pounced? Aish." Jisoo teases. Chae then adds,

"And under the same roof as your mother? I am utterly shocked and quite disappointed in you Lisa-yah," Chae says, and begins to shake her head. I glare at them,
