It was midnight in Litwaks arcade. Every game character was asleep. But sleep was something that wasn't as important to gamers as it was to humans. Most of them slept only like 8 hours every night. Some even slept only up to 6 hours, yet there were two characters who slept through the whole night. Fix it Felix and Calhoun. Since they were married for 2 months now, Felix learned that his wife pretty much didn't sleep at all in her game, for obvious reasons. There were too many perimeter checks, too many Cy-bugs to hunt down. And Felix was always a heavy sleeper himself. He was sound asleep right next to Calhoun. As long as Felix was there, she would be able to sleep peacefully, but not all the time. Felix suddenly felt her shudder and he was immediately wide awake. He heard her muttering in her sleep, commanding and comforting at the same time. "Felix, stay behind me! I won't let him hurt you, I promise!" Felix sat up and looked to Calhoun who had her back faced to him. "Felix, run! Run!" she muttered in an alarmed tone and turned her sleeping face to Felix. Golly, she looked so frightened! "NO!" she yelled this time. Felix nearly jumped out of his skin. "GET AWAY FROM HIM, YOU FILTHY VIRUS!" She started kicking the bed sheets. Felix was getting scared. He started shaking her shoulder. "Tammy! Tammy, wake up!" he cried. "NOOOOOO!!!! YOU WILL PAY FOR HIM, YOU MONSTER!!!" she yelled and swung her fist in a way that it hit Felix straight in his eye, wich caused him fall right off the bed! Calhoun jerked up, opened her eyes and turned to Felix as she heard him moaning. "FELIX!!!" she shouted relieved and before Felix knew, she pulled him into the tightest hug she had ever given him. "Thank goodness your alive! I thought I lost you!" she was sobbing. "My poor dynamite gal!" Felix thought and hugged her back. "It's okay, Tammy! I'm fine! I swear!" he gasped, trying to catch his breath. She was really strong. Calhoun could feel that she was hugging him too tight and let him go to reveal her tear stained face. Calhoun quickly looked away, like she always did when she was crying. Calhoun never wanted anyone to see her crying, even if she had a good reason. "Oh no, Felix, your eye! I'm so sorry!" she said shamefully as she noticed his swollen eye. Felix had totally forgotten about the stabbing pain in his eye but he smiled sweetly at her as she said that. "Aww...it's alright, sweetie pie!" he said and grabbed his hammer from the nightstand. "I can fix it!" He said and tapped himself with it, instantly healing his eye. "Besides, it was kinda my fault! I tried to help you at the wrong time!" Calhoun chuckled, even though she was still crying. "Oh, you! I hurt you, and you're worried about me!" she said jokingly before she looked away again. Felix blushed slightly, but then turned worried again. "Now tell me Tammy, what was your nightmare about?" Felix asked and looked at her expectantly. Calhoun kept adverting her eyes as she explained that in her nightmare, they both were being chased by a Cy-bug who had them cornered them in his hunting area. Calhoun tried to protect Felix from the Cy-bug but it got him anyway. "I guess I'm still afraid about loosing you. I wouldn't be able to live with myself, if something ever happens to you!" she started crying again. Her tears kept streaming down her cheeks like a waterfall, when suddenly she felt Felix's hand on her cheek. "Tammy, look at me!" He said in a serious tone. Calhoun looked in his direction and Felix threw his arms around her and hugged her tightly. Calhoun was shocked, but she eventually hugged him back. "That will never happen! A lady as beautiful as you should't be suffering any kind of pain! As long as I live I will always stay alive and healthy for you! And if you ever have a nightmare like this, just tell me and I will do everything in my power to make it go away! I promise!" Then he let her go and smiled warmly at her as he dried off one of her tears. Calhoun never had felt this touched before. She felt fresh tears slipping down her face, but this time they were happy tears. Felix removed his hand from her cheek and looked concerned at her. "Are you feeling alright?" He asked bashfully. For an answer, Calhoun pinned her husband down and covered his face with kisses. Felix immediately melted into it and let out a dreamy chuckle. At last, Calhoun yanked him in for a fiery kiss that seemed to last a heavenly eternity. As she finally pulled back, there were no more tears left in her eyes. She was only smiling. "I-I 'll take that as a yes!" Felix stutterd with a lovesick grin and his face full of honeyglows that he always had whenever they kissed. Calhoun smile turned sly. "You know, for someone who's short, your cuteness totally overcomes that!" she said in a flirty tone wich made Felix turn so red that Calhoun could even see it in the dark. She chuckled and kissed Felix again before she got off him and pulled him against her chest. Felix smiled, wrapped his arms around her slender waist and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Like I said, if you ever have a nightmare again, just tell me and I will make it better. They don't call me Fix it Felix for nothing! If I can fix a building, I can also fix a nightmare!" he said before closing his eyes. Calhoun kissed his forehead and whispered before falling asleep:"I think you already have, shortstack!"END
