New World, New Me.

Long day

I look in the mirror to see what she finally picked out for me wear, I'm wearing a black blazer with white frilled cuffs at the end of my sleeves, and a chain hanging from my small pocket, I'm wearing, from what my world calls them black slacks and dark brown loafers. My hair was left shaggy but cute in a way.(now that that's over) I looked over to lyla and divided to ask lyla "what time is it?" She goes to my window and looks up at the sun "about 2:26 young master." I stare wide eyes and start to freak out "IM LATE!!!" The maid looks at me concerned but before she could say anything I ran out the door only to find a lot of the maids in front of my door "good evening young master." After that they all go there separate ways like nothing happened, 'ok then?' I run past everyone in the direction of the lessons room I go to for my studies and when I finally make it there, here goes nothing.... except my life, at least I have THAT excuse to use now, I open the door to two striking Grey eyes glaring down at me "your late."

"Am I?" I say boardly. He reaches for his pocket and pulls out a pocket watch and stares at me. "2:30" he says "you were supposed to be here An hour ago." I lock eyes with him as he glares harder, I sigh, I guess I'll have to resort to THAT excuse... "the maid, well she..." I shake a little for added effect, I look up to see his brilliant reaction and, luckily I look up quickly enough to see his face morph into a pitiful look "I'll let it pass this time, just don't do it again." He says. Score not dead yet, but at least his stutter is completely gone now, I guess he was just nervous, i would be too if I had to introduce myself to this completely adorable face! I should talk with Jinxe later on, and thank him, and apologize for yelling at him for it. Yeah I'll do just that, I was dragged out of my thoughts by my teachers announcement "today in going to teach you how to play the piano." I'm sorry I must have misheard. "What?" I ask with a hopeful look. "I'm going to teach you how to play piano." My teacher looks a little concerned, "are you ok? You look pale Lucius." Well honestly I'm not ok, my teacher watches as the hope in my eyes turns to panic. I look behind him and see the piano, "Lucius it will be okay, no one is great at first." He says encouragingly, It's just that, I'm literally worse than terrible, think of a child slamming there head on one of those tiny toy pianos that make loud high-pitched sounds and that's what me playing the piano sounds like. This isn't good. "Come and sit down Lucius." I (very reluctantly) went over to the piano chair and sat down as told, "now then let's begin, place your hand here and here." I did as told, don't worry I'll help you with the first keys" he put his hands on top of mine and pushed down some keys, it actually didn't sound bad, " now, Lucius do you remember what i taught you about reading sheet music?" I nod my head nervously "y-yeah" he walks over to his bag and pulls out a book that I recognize as the music book he taught me with. He opened it to a certain chapter and put it on the music sheet stand in front of me. "Try playing this piece."

I stare at my hands astonished at what I just did, I look over at my teacher who looked just as baffled as I was, and I don't blame him, I mean maybe it was just the previous me who was bad at instruments, great, now I really have to thank Jinxe for this body of mine and my talent cuz that certainly didn't come from me. "Good job Lucius" ahh yes I forgot nothing fazes him anymore. I deeply apologize dear teacher for all the hardships I put you through. He looks over to his bag and pulls out a number of instruments "can you play these?" 'this... is going to be a LONG day...'
