Yesterday I mentioned epilepsy in ELA (my first two classes/periods/blocks/whatever you want to call them)
This girl (the same girl who didn't even capitalize her name in that essay)
She asks
What epilepsy is
J u s t -
I have had seizures in front of the class and mentioned this before how and why do you not know this
This girl is in the 13-14 range
Not to rant too much, but epilepsy is more common than it seems, and it's so stupid that kids these age don't know what it is (especially if one of their classmates is epileptic)
Oh, by the way, she also used to flicker the lights on and off in my homeroom when I was getting my books ready
Look, the only reason I actually told her to stop was because my mother and I don't know what actually causes the seizures, and it was pissing off my eyes
But still like why-
I'll stop ranting, have a nice Thanksgiving (I'm on break now so hah)
