Chapter 6: Mister Love meets Mi-Chan

Two weeks after the death of Silver and his parents, Mister Love sits alone in the playground area at the school crying his eyes out. His teacher, Miss Queen, attempts to comfort him.

"Mister Love, why aren't you hanging around with your friends?"

Mister Love sobs, "I just want to be left alone."

Miss Queen covers her mouth, "Aw, do you want to draw with me? It'll make you feel better."

He sniffles, "I want to be left alone. Nothing will ever make me better."

"Okay. Feel free to talk to me alright?" Miss Queen gets up and walks off.

Five minutes after Mister Love was left alone, he looks up looking at the other kids playing from soccer, to basketball, to kids swinging on the swings. While looking, he sees me walking home from school, looking at my white and pink uniform dress. Mister Love stands and runs to the gate to get my attention.

I turn to him after hearing a sound coming from the gate, "Oh, hey there. What're you doing out here watching me walk by?"

Mister Love has hearts in his eyes, "I really hope I didn't disturb you while you're walking home. You just look so adorable, I couldn't keep my eyes off of you."

I blushed smiling, "Aw, thank you. What's your name?"

Mister Love blushes, "Oh, my name? My name's Casey Love. Call me Mister Love."

"My name's Mi Fugikawa. Call me Mi-Chan."

He burst to hearts, "Your name's so cute. I've never met anyone whose name's as cute as yours."

"Aw, that's sweet of you. You wanna hang out with me?" Students start looking at me and Mister Love having a conversation.

Mister Love squeals, "I would love to!"

He frowns, "Also, I forgot to tell you this but. My mom and dad are abusive to me. I don't have anyone besides my friends and teachers to calm me down. I really need someone to give me the love that I've been longing for. Because my best friend died, I don't have anyone else to help me when I need it." He sobs uncontrollably.

I got on my knees and give him a kiss on the cheek as he stops crying and looks at me, "I'm so sorry for your loss. I wish there's something I can do to help you. Also, besides my boyfriend, I have a crush on you."

Students respond, "Awww."

Mister Love asked, "A-Are you telling me---"

I smile, "I know we just met but, you know how to turn my bad days to good days. Plus, you're so cute, I can't believe people would hurt you like that."

Miss Queen comes outside, "What's going on here?"

Anonymous student burst to hearts, "You need to see this. It's so hard to peel my eyes off of them." She looks at me and Mister Love.

Miss Queen then smiles and walks to him. As she reaches to him, she rubs his back before giving him a hug.

I asked her smiling, "Aw, are you one of Mister Love's teachers?"

She responds smiling at me, "I sure am. I hope I didn't disturb you both. I never knew he glue his eyes towards you."

"Oh it's okay. You didn't really disturb us."

I reach out my hand, "I'm Mi Fugikawa, call me Mi-Chan."

Miss Queen shakes my hand, "I'm Mister Love's homeroom teacher, Miss Queen. It's so nice to meet you."

I giggle, "Mister Love, you wanna know what it's like if I become your guardian?"

Mister Love responds, "I don't know actually. Is it illegal for you to become a guardian at your age?"

Miss Queen looks at Mister Love smiling, "It's actually legal to become guardian at any age. You have to be accepted by a Heart God in order to become one."

My eyes were closed, "Mister Love, no matter what happens I'll always be there to protect you."

Mister Love's eyes sparkles then makes a smile, "Thank you Mi-Chan."

After Mister Love gets out of school, me and him decide to hang out at the hill located near the school. Once we both reached to the hill, I set a blanket on the ground before we both sit down and look at the students leaving school.

I asked with a smile, "Don't you like watching the students leave school?"

Mister Love responds, "Yeah. There're times where I like to see the students hang around the schoolyard. Hey Mi-Chan I forgot to tell you something."

"What is it?"

Mister Love pictures himself in a suit like he's actually a school principal, "When I grow up, I want to become a school principal. Even change students' lives because of that. I want to be noticed, inspired, you name it. I want every future student to remember me as the best school principal around."

I sparkle, "Really?"

He chuckles, "Well, I hope so. It's not like my dream may come true in an instant."

I hug him, "I think being school principal is a perfect job for you."

I sits up as I open my school bag, "Hey Mister Love, are you hungry? I have some snacks we can share?"

"Sure."

"Let's see. What do I have in there? Oh." I pull out a bag of snacks.

I look at him, "Hey Mister Love, are you allergic to anything?"

"Oh no. I'm not allergic to anything."

I pull out a chocolate lollipop, "You like some chocolate?"

He grabs the lollipop from my hand, "Sure, thank you Mi-Chan." He unwraps the wrapper and takes a bite out of the lollipop.

I get out a chocolate bar as I unwrap it and start munching on it, "Mm-mm, I love chocolate. What do you think?"

"Yeah, chocolate's my favorite snack to have. Before Silver died, me and him go to a chocolate factory after school."

"Oh, is that your best friends' name?"

"Yeah, he's such an awesome friend. I miss him so much. At least he and his parents are happy in heaven now." He continues eating his lollipop.

I smile, "I think so to. I bet they're watching us right now."

He looks up, "Silver-Kun, I love you so much."

I put the empty chocolate wrapper in my bag, "Mm, that was yummy. How'd you like your lollipop?"

He smiles, "I love it, thank you." I hug him while he was hesitant to hug me back. After I made a slight giggle, he hugs me back.

Three hours later, me and him give each other a hug before we both walk home separately.
