I was in the car heading all the way to Kentucky to live with my grandparents, but this wasn't going to be like all the other times. This time it was forever. The car began rolling into the driveway it was a cute little cottage that was blue with flowers everywhere and lot's of insects and birds and there where my grandparents on the porch waiting for me. I stepped out of the car and got my luggage from the trunk. This was it I was going to be living in the country from now on. I slowly walked up the old creaky steps and looked into my Grandparents gentle eyes.
"What happened to your eyes sweetie there all red?" Grandpa asked
I was crying my heart out in the car to be honest. My Grandmother slapped my grandpa because clearly of course I would be crying.
" Don't listen to him hon" grams said
She hugged me for a good whole minute. Then the went to go show me my new room. It was a floral wallpaper room with a queen size bed at the left side of the room with a white floral quilt to match the wallpaper and a desk and mirror on the other side with a full walk in closet. This was my mother's room as a child. I began to cry. All they did was walk slowly up to me and gave me a hug again. They told me that it will be all right in the end but with the world turned upside down I didn't believe them. Then all I when they left the room was crawl into bed still dressed and cry myself to sleep.
