It was one silent night and I found myself stuck in piles of books I got from the library nearby
I stopped reading and took a look around myself
"I really am a loner" I huffed out pouting, I've been living in my apartment alone for 2 years and I'm already in my Sophomore year
Pretty young to fly solo, but my parents wanted me to acknowledge how it feels to be alone and independent
Tch, while they're still living with halmeoni.
Hypocrites.
I decided to go out for tonight and I don't know, maybe find myself a pair, a pet
I stood up and got my jacket on along with my handbag, I looked through my wallet and saw that I had decent amount of money
I got out and instantly the cold breeze hits my warm skin as I shivered at the feeling
I closed and locked the door and walked away
As I was on my way to the pet shop close to my home, I suddenly felt tired and went to go into a dark alley. I heard this was a short cut so I decided, why not give it a try?
It was dark as expected, the sound of pure silence invaded the narrow space as the cold air accompanied it making this somewhat creepy
I instantly regretted my decision as I flinched at the sight of a strange man holding a cage with a raven coloured bunny
"So fluffy.." I whispered
The minty-haired man looked at me with a fiery gaze. If looks could kill, I'd probably be on the other side of the world by now
"What the f*ck do you want?" He spitted venom, his voice was husky and he seemed pissed off
"Ah.. sorry I just like your bunny.." I avoided his uncomfortable stares and shifted my attention to the bunny squeaking inside it's black 'dungeon'
"How much are you willing to pay for it?" He smirked as squeaky sounds followed that came from the little fluff
"I don't know I have 300,000 in my wallet.."
I stared down at my handbag unconsciously"Deal" His smirk widened as the bunny started squeaking uncontrollably making the man mutter something under his breath making the bunny shush
I was a bit amused but then I handed him the money and he gave me the bunny, what I didn't realise was the handbook that was hidden inside the bunny's cage
I came home and double locked the door behind me before placing the bunny inside my room and unlocking it's cage
I patted it's soft raven fur as it flinched and ran away from me
I sighed and sat on the cold floor that was partially hidden by stacks of book and placed down my laptop to watch some k-drama
As I was watching I didn't realise the bunny was on my lap watching with me
...
The sound of birds chirping and my blanket shifting from it's original place was what woke me up
"Stop it.." I groaned, but sat up almost instantly once I realised
I live alone
