(2) An Awkward New Day

Nicole's POV

 I wake up, forgetting that I stayed over at Katelyn's after the party. What time is it? Oh wow its 10:34 AM. Huh. I stretch and get up, I smell something as i'm sitting here. Pancakes? Well, i'm surprise-WELL Wait I don't mean she's a TERRIBLE cook, in fact her cooking is good! It's just, she usually would wake me up and we go eat at IHOP or such. Well anyways, I better stop pondering before there's no more food.

 "Wow Kate, I thought we would do the usual and go-OOHH WHAAT!?" I get startled by Travis cooking! I guess it makes sense but...why is he here? I look over and see Kate on the couch. "Oh yeah, sorry forgot to tell you. Yeah I let Travis stay for a night since he was locked out of his house, plus, he promised food." Katelyn says as she takes a bite of a pancake. I'm still not used to this. I feel kind of...third wheeling-ish? I realize that i'm just staring into space awkwardly silent. "O-Oh it's fine I was just...not expecting that" I say as I grab a plate of pancakes. "This smells...AMAZING! Travis I didn't know you could cook!" I say as I eat a piece. He smiles lightly, again kinda weird. 

 He puts a piece of chocolate on top of Katelyns. He whispered something, but it's probably something cheesy like 'Cause you're so sweet' or something like that. Katelyn immediately pushed him away. "Nicooleeee heellp!" She yells as she's pushing him. I grab my food and drag him away and sit next to Katelyn and we snicker. "Ahaha, thanks Nicole." She says and smiles. "No thanks for me.." Travis mumbles but I still hear him. I hit him in the arm and snicker and look back at Katelyn. "You're welcome." I say. We continue eating and watch TV.

3 Hours Later...

"You guys ready for lunch? Cause I could really go for tacos!" Travis says. "Yeah I guess. What about you Nicole?" Katelyn says. "I guess I can go for food right now. I mean, who would say no?!" I say.

They go to lunch...

 We walk in I see the back of someone's head, that looks kind of familiar but I can't really think of who. Huh. We go to our table and, its a big table, why would we need a big table for only the three of u-"Oh forgot to mention...I invited Dante, Laurence, Aaron, Aphmau, Kawaii~Chan, & Garroth. I also said they could invite some people if they wanted." Travis then says as he sat down. It's like he read my mind. Wow. "TRAV-" I cover Katelyn's mouth before we get kicked out of the restaurant for her yelling. "MMPH-Sorry, but-*Sigh* At least Aphmau and Kawaii~Chan are coming okay...nevermind." Katelyn said as she tried to calm down. I see behind her the person that looked familiar, IT WAS LUCAS! OH IRENES SA-"Hey guys!" Garroth says. I turn to look next to me and it's Laurence, Garroth, Zane, Kawaii~Chan, Aphmau, Aaron, and Dante.

 "Hey!" Travis says. "Oh, hey!" Katelyn says. "Uh Hey!" I also respond. "Yeah hey also, I would of invited Cadenza but she was taking care of Caleb!" Laurence then said to us, mainly to me. Darn, that sucks, Cadenza seems to always be busy with things. I sigh. "Dang, she's always busy nowadays." I say. Laurence sits next to me. "Yeah sorry about that, but she is always  busy with things. I'm sure she'll be able to hang out tomorrow! If you want me to ask." He says as he smiles. "Oh uh yeah sure!" I say smiling back. It then becomes awkward, we don't really have anything else to talk about besides Cadenza, it's always been like that.

They all Order Food and are Now Eating

Laurence's POV

 This is the most awkward thing ever. Why? Because since everyone brang a friend to talk with, except me, it's just me and Nicole NOT talking. Even if Cadenza came, her and Nicole would be talking. Actually i'm surprised she's not talking to Katelyn and Travis honestly. I guess it's because I talked to her first. At least I have food.
