Seventeen
Her body slammed approximately on the locker door. The lanky figure rose towering above her small ones.
It was him.
The boy who ruined her.
He had the audacity to smirk. Clicking his tongue, he asked, "I'm sorry for what I've done. I was an imbecile. I realized that I'm in love with you. I shouldn't have done that, can you please forgive me?"
It was the words she was waiting to hear.
But she noticed that he's merely there when she's pleasant.
She smiled. Granting him a shimmer of hope.
Then she did what she should have done a long time ago,
She slapped him.
