Fullmetal Alchemist // The Crystal Alchemist

Chapter 1: Crystal and Metal Don't Mix

In the well presented office of Colonel Roy Mustang sat three people in there. Roy Mustang himself and the Eric brothers, Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric. Roy flicked through some paperwork and started to write as Edward watched with a bored face except for Alphonse , who folded his arms and looked around. " Could you wait a minute Fullmetal just need to finish some private paperwork for the Furhur Bradley ! " Roy spoke and tlided his head up. Edward sighed and glared at the Colonel for a few moments until a loud knock made him jump and echoed his ears. The door knob was turned and came in a young teenager girl with messy chestnut hair and the most rare color eyes, Edward had ever seen. The shades of teal that blended in her pupils was perfect and his heart started to beat but at the same time annoyed. Roy put his paperwork at the side and gave a small smile to the girl. She pulled a piece of her side fringe back and smiled back. " I hope she isn't coming with us ! " Edward mumbled under his breath with an annoyed face. His younger sibling nudged him with his metal shoulder hard. " Ed please don't start ! " Alphonse scolded to Edward. He was surprised that Edward could be rude especially to a young girl, who looks the same age as him.

" Morning, Angela ! " he smiled and in respone , she saluted to the Colonel and got herself a seat beside Alphonse , who was waiting patiently to greet himself to the fellow girl. " Elrics , I like you to meet Angela Millers , she is an Alchemist herself and will be accoplying on this report ! "

" Hi " she casually said forming a smile halfway with a little wave. Edward then stood up and gave out his hand to Angela. " I'm the Fullmetal Alchemist , Edward Elric and this is my brother , Al ". Edward's finger followed around and pointed at the suit of armour. She heard about the Elric brothers on one of her reports and was excited to work with them. Her face was stunned when the Fullmetal name was mentioned. " So you must be the Fullmetal Alchemist , Al " She grinned until Edward's face went bright red full of anger Hello miss , oh you mean Ed , I'm not the Fullmetal he is ! ". As Alphonse calmly explained to Angela , her face became confused and looked at the other Elric Brother. " What the shrimp by any chance ! ". All of the sudden , Edward's face exploded with anger and sharply shouted  at Angela. " How dare you call me a Shrimp. Your a little weasel yourself ! " He clenched his teeth in anger as Angela watched horrific actions made by the small boy. " Well sorry but there is no need of ripping into me for one word I said ". Angela's face turned to the Colonel. Her first impressions of Edward ended in a horrible way but she didn't care. She then began listening to Roy explaination about the report. " Okay " Roy began his sentence like this. " You three will investigate the village of Beratha in the north region of the East City. There is an scientist , who is trying to create Chrimeas to terrorise the whole village. I want you to get there as soon as possible to stop him ! " Roy explained and gave the paperwork for the Elric brothers and Angela to look at. Their eyes studied up and down of the profile of the scientist, " His name is Dr Elmer Haggas. He was once a scientist working for the military here until when his wife died. He just went on a rampage and escaped one day ! " Roy finished his sentence and sat back on his seat with his hands supporting his chin. Angela quickly got off her seat without no explaination along with the Elric brothers and walked out of the room.
