-Carrie's P.O.V-
"You're sure you're okay?" I ask, walking upstairs.
"I'm sure," He replies, putting his arms back to his sides.
"You act like you are about to die," I laugh.
"Well, it was a really good punch," He shrugs, "We'll continue training some other time."
I nod as we continue to make our way upstairs.
"Where's that guy?" I ask when we get to the living room, looking around.
"Jacob," He corrects me, "I think he's still out grocery shopping."
"Oh. I thought he'd be back by now."
He shrugs, "C'mon. We're leaving."
"Already? We've only been here for a few minutes!"'
"It's been an hour and a half," He chuckles, pointing at the clock.
"Oh," I laugh.
"Go to the car first. I have to lock the door," He orders me, grabbing both keys for the house and car.
I get in the car and watch him lock the door of the house.
When it's locked, he comes in the car and starts it.
Right when he is about to move out of the driveway, his phone rings.
"Give me a sec," He says, stopping the car.
He takes his phone out of his pocket and answers whoever it is on the phone.
I decide to eavesdrop since I had nothing better to do.
"Harry!" A familiar voice, which I think belonged to the guy named Jacob, yells through the phone.
"What is it?" Harry asks.
"They're after me!"
"Who?"
"The cops!"
"What did you do?"
"I'll explain later. Just come help me shoot them down!"
"How many cop cars are there?"
"About five."
"Jesus, I'll call backup."
"Good. I'm somewhere around The Man's place. Hurry!"
The Man's place?
Harry ends the call and starts driving again.
"What happened?" I ask.
Even though I heard the whole conversation, I still wanted to ask to see if he knew anything else about it.
"Jacob's just in trouble. It's nothing really," He answers calmly.
He begins to call three other people, telling them about what happened to Jacob.
"Yes, he's somewhere around The Man's place," Harry tells the last person.
"But I'm in the middle of yoga class!" A female voice groans from the other side of the phone.
"It doesn't matter. Tell them you'll be back later. It won't take long," Harry says, ending the call.
Who is this man they keep talking about?
I look around, not ready for whatever is about to happen.
"Carrie," He says, glancing at me then putting his eyes back on the road.
"Yes?" I ask worriedly, looking at him.
"Go in the back and lift the middle seat up. You'll find a big box."
I nod, unbuckling my seatbelt.
While the car is moving, I climb to the back and lift the middle seat, revealing the big box.
"Got it," I say, pulling the box out and crawl back to the front.
"Good. Now open it and take out a gun and two masks," Harry orders me, focusing on the road.
I open the box and find some grenades, pocket knives, regular sized knives, ammunition, a first aid kit, masks, and some guns.
My eyes widen at all the stuff that is in the box.
This guy is prepared for a fight.
I'm surprised that this box has enough room for all of this stuff.
I take the gun and the two masks out like Harry had told me to and pass it to him.
"Put the mask on," Harry orders, taking the gun and a mask.
I put the mask on without hesitation and so does Harry.
Harry loads his gun and rolls down his window as five police cars come into view.
I am not ready to witness this.
With one hand on the steering wheel and one hand gripping the gun, Harry puts his arm out and begins to shoot the cop cars.
Two black cars drive up next to us, one on each side.
I start to panic but soon realize they might be a part of us because they are shooting the cop cars and wearing masks as well.
Where’s Jacob and the third person?
Harry shoots the tires off of one cop car and it slides to the side.
When we pass the car, Harry shoots through the window and it hits the cops head.
A gasp escapes out of my mouth when I see the blood gushing out of his head.
I turn to Harry but when I look at him, his eyes are dark and a smile is placed on his face.
It isn't those warm smiles where both sides of his cheeks are indented and his eyes are a light colour of green.
No, it is cold and intimidating.
His eyes are the colour of wet grass.
He is enjoying this.
The sight of death!
What a monster.
He begins to shoot some more and all I could think of was he's a monster.
How could he enjoy such things?
Four of the cop cars are down and one is left but soon flipped when it got hit by the car that is on our left.
We all stop at the flipped car.
Harry gets out of the car and I quickly follow him, not wanting to be alone as I didn't feel safe.
All of us have come out to surround the car that lay on its side.
Harry opens the door of the car, revealing a cop with blood covering him.
He taps the bleeding cop with his gun.
The cop slowly turns his head towards us, causing me to let out a small gasp as I take in his bloody face.
"Any last words?" Harry smirks, pointing the gun at the cop.
The cop begins to open his mouth to say something but no words came out since Harry shot him.
A/N: The colour of wet grass? Who says that? Apparently, me. School is starting so soon! I want to go but not go. You feel me? Anyways, the story was getting a little boring without any drama or action so here is something that might make you feel less bored. Also, who is The Man? Hmm.
