The Autumn Leaves (Levi x dying reader)

War Zone

Me and Levi had a close relationship. I never had the courage to ask him out because I didn't know how he would think of me..

My plan is to ask him out after we come back from war. The titans are so simple to kill, it wont be that bad.

Levi gave a small smile to me, "Are you ready (y/n)?" he asked. "Of course i am." I said with a huge smile. He gave me his coat, "its a bit chilly out, it would suck if your muscles ached after war, stay warm alright?" he said while getting on his horse. I felt a row of blush hit my face, "Thank you captain." i said while putting it on and getting on my horse. The beautiful trees of orange and yellow shined through the huge sun.

"Look Levi, the image of beauty is falling under our feet." i said while pointing at the leaves.
Levi looked at the leaves then behind you.
"(y/n) watch out!!" he yelled. I turned around and saw a titan reaching for me. "Levi take my horse!" i shouted while jumping off.

~Levi's P.O.V~
I watched as (y/n) jumped off her horse. She ran up the titans arm and went behind it. She jumped and sliced its neck.
I pushed her horse away from me so she could get back on. She jumped down and back to her horse. "Good job (y/n)." i said with a charming smile. Her face turned red.
She blushed, i got her to blush again.. I thought to myself.
I turned away for a second and turned to look back at her, she was gone...
I turned around completely and saw a titan holding her by the back of the shirt. "(y/n)!!!!!" i yelled. I jumped off my horse and at full speed cut the titans ankle.

Your P.O.V
I felt completely in shock that neither of us noticed this titan. I looked down inside of its mouth. The realisation hit me, that i was gonna die!
"LEVI!!!" i screamed. I saw Levi cut the titans ankle, i felt the teeth of the titan crush my legs.
I screamed in pain and saw Levi swing across pulling me quickly out of its horrid mouth.

He swirled to the ground holding my body. "(y/n)!" he said while placing his warm hand on my pale, cold face.

Levi's P.O.V

Her face looked flushed, my shaky hands moved down her body to see she had no legs.
My eyes widened, "(y/n) stay with me! We'll get you back to safe grounds i promise!"
A tear moved down her face, "L...Levi... Im... Loosing too much b..b...blood.."
"Damn it! No you'll be fine! Don't give up!" i said getting closer to her pale face. I squeezed her hand tightly and felt her squeeze mine with her remaining strength.
She smiled softly, "don't.....forget me...." she said weakly. My eyes filled with tears. "(y/n) don't go!!"
Her grasp on my hand released, "i... Love.... Y....yo......." her eye lids closed slowly.

Your P.O.V

I felt my chest giving up to provide air. My eyes felt heavy and i started to close them. Before they shut completely, i saw the beautiful autumn leaves falling around Levi as he held me. My eyes filled with tears. Everything went black.

Levi's P.O.V

I watched as she died in my arms. A loud scream of sorrow came out of my mouth. "(Y/N)!!!! WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME!!"
A tear of mine fell on her face.

/back to safe grounds/

I continued to hold her body when walking back with other cadets. I took her all the way back to a grave far from the others. I took my jacket off of her and saw all the blood on it. I hugged the top half of her body and cried. "Why is it a curse, why is it when i care for someone they die?!" i yelled while placing my head on her chest.

That's the end of the story.
Yes it wad quite short, also this wont add on to my other stories. I just felt inspired to write a book like this.
I totally didn't cry when writing this.
