Chapter 1- The Accident

It was a normal day for Jimin. He woke up and got dressed, getting ready for the long day ahead of him. The sun was shining brightly and he was thankful. It rained all day the day before and he hated rain.

Jimin walked out the door and was greeted by his childhood friend, Hobi. He was momentarily blinded by Hobi's bright smile but soon got over it just like every other morning.

"Good morning Jimin", Hobi said while skipping alongside him on their way to work. "Morning Hobi how are you?" Jimin replied, giggling as his excited friend tripped over a rock shaped cloud. "Well, you wouldn't believe what happened to me. I woke up and one of my moonflowers bloomed overnight!" He exclaimed.

Jimin always admired his friend who was excited about each and every flower that bloomed in his beautiful garden. Hobi had started a garden as soon as his parents had given him a moonflower seed when he turned sixteen. He always loved gardening and was ecstatic when he was told he could have his very own garden.

"What's on the agenda for today Hobi?" Jimin asked.

"Jimin, today we have 700 wishes to check and see if they are worth granting," he explained, hitting Jimin a little for ignoring his beautiful story about his precious babies.

"Let's go then Hobi we have a long day ahead of us. RACE YOU TO THE CELESTIAL OFFICE!" Jimin yelled, sprinting off toward the workplace where he and Hobi had spent the majority of their lives. During the morning they would answer the wishes that people would make when discovering a shooting star. When night falls, they send out the shooting stars for people who still believe that wishes truly do come true.

"GET BACK HERE SHORTY!" Hobi screamed, chasing after the little blonde who had furrowed his brows and scowled at the nickname that protruded from the evil horse.

"In your dreams horse face," Jimin said, laughing and gasping for air as he arrived at the entrance of their workplace.

~Time Skip~ 

Jimin and Hobi were exhausted after their long day of work. Granting wishes is a difficult job after all. When they headed towards the door, they spotted Taehyung and Jungkook walking towards them with smiles on their faces. It was a good idea for Jin to suggest that they take turns granting and distributing wishes to the people of Earth. Some days Jimin and Hobi would grant the wishes, other days, the duo would spend their night sending the stars out into the world for humans to wish upon.

While on the way back home, Hobi was leaning on Jimin and slowly falling asleep on his shoulder. Jimin kept nudging him but to no avail. He started to worry as they got closer to the edge of the island and pleaded for Hobi to get off of him.

"Hobi stop, I understand you are tired but we are dangerously close to the edge," Jimin said. Hobi woke up and pushed Jimin away for waking him from his "much needed" slumber.

Bad idea.

Jimin screamed as he was shoved off the island. He fainted at the thought of never seeing his family or friends. As Jimin blacked out the last thing he heard was Hobi screaming his name.
