Almost Innocent Eyes

Nikolas looked at Brodey from across the field.
    "Oh my god." He breathed out.
    Nikolas continued absentmindedly staring at Brodey even while he made his way over to him.
    "Like what you see?" Brodey asked in his more high pitched voice. Nikolas just continued to stare.
    "Necessarily"
    " Oh really?-"
The bell rang signaling ot was time for classes.
    "-We'll talk more at lunch ya?, See you then."
   Nikolas went to lunch at the same spot they talked the period before.
    " 'Hey Brodey how are you?' No no no! He's not gonna wanna listen to that! H-"
    "Hey"
   Nikolas spun around to be face to face with Brodey.
    "H-Hey"
    "Were you, Talking to yourself?"
Brodey pointed straight at Nikolas.
"No, I was... Singing. Along. To my favorite, Song. Ya- were you talking to yourself?"
    "No? Haha. Well-
  He started walking away
    - You coming?"
    Nikolas followed Brodey.
    "Where are we going?"
    "Where do you think?"
   Brodey chuckled and sped up a little bit.
   "Now come on we're gonna be late"
            *Time skip because I'm lazy*
The bell rang and they ran back to the school
    "HEY NIK wait up!" Brodey shouted across the field. He took out a sharpie and wrote his number on Niks arm. 587-***-****.
    "You should call me later ;)" Brodey said to Nik.
    "O.k ya sure bye!"
   Nik ran home immediately after school and called Brodey. He wrote down the address that he gave him and told his mom he was going to Lukus's for a study party.
  The walk to Brodeys house was boring and full of Anxiety the whole time.
