But for me I wasn't so lucky i was consumed by the darkness all because of my broken heart but thankfully my best friend Y/n was always there for me even if i was a Grimm and now i will tell my story of how it all happened how i fell in love with my best friend...
[Y/n and Ruby age: 7]
At the patch in the forest there were two kids playing tag and four parents watching them
???: "Hey no fair slow down Y/n."
Y/n: "Sorry Ruby but you got to be faster to catch me."
As Ruby was tried to catch up to Y/n she soon activated her semblance for the first time and tackled him as they were on the ground Ruby touched his nose
Ruby: "Tag your it."
Y/n: "Hey no fair you used your semblance."
Y/n said as they look at eachother before they began to laugh as they continued to play till Y/n's parents tols him it was time to go home but before he could leave Ruby stopped to ask Y/n
Ruby: "Y/n can you make a promise?"
Y/n: "Um sure what is it?"
Ruby: "Can you be there for me no matter what happens."
Y/n smiled as he hugged her and Ruby hugged them back before Y/n had to leave her home to head back to where he lived
8 years later
Ruby who was now 15 years old and she was attending beacon and has a loving girlfriend Weiss. But she has been very distant lately and on the day of our anniversary Ruby was gonna give Weiss a present but as she got to her dorm she heard moaning and she looked to see Weiss having sex with Neptune and Ruby dropped her present and it broke from the drop and Weuss looks at Ruby with fear in her eyes
Weiss: "Ruby its not what it looks like!"
Weiss yelled as Ruby was already gone and she had her weapon with her and as she soon got on a BullHead she sees Weiss and the others comimg after Ruby but it was too late the BullHead left before they could yell for it to stop and they stood there watching it leave and Yang punches Weiss with the rage that was build up inside
Yang: "WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT TO MY SISTER WEISS!!!"
Weiss was silent as she soon ran back to the dorms and cried heavily on her bed as for Ruby she was soon at a forest and she cried so much she pulled out Crescent Rose and aimed the riffle to her heart and she pulled the trigger killing herself and laying there lifeless and in cold blood
Ruby's POV
It was dark I couldn't feel anything and I remember was the emotional depression I felt when Weiss cheated on me but as I felt i was gonna accept the fact that i was dying I soon heard a voice calling for me
???: "Ruby Don't you remember the promise i did for you right? Well if you don't I will still be there for you so please wake up."
I looked to where the voice came from but I couldn't see who it was but I was thankful to hear that familiar voice and I soon felt that my body was moving but I was at a place I didn't remember and I saw IronWood looking at me as I felt different from normal but as I looked at the mirror I realized that my life as a normal girl is over now im a Grimm and I look at myself terrified and looked at him as my hand was shaking as it formed a scythe in my hand so I quickly tried to escape from where I was at and sooner or later I made it outside but it was cold and dark I could barely even walk in the snow. I soon collapsed on the ground I couldn't see anything but I can hear footsteps coming to me and I felt someone picking me up and taking me away...
3rd POV
As the man who took Ruby to a cabin in the woods he soon enters in the house and placed her on the couch and covered her in a blanket as the man walks to his room. An hour later Ruby began to slowly wake up and she gets up and looks around and she sees a teenage boy cooking something and he turned to see Ruby awake
???: "Oh your awake thats good i was worried if you weren't going to make it."
Ruby: "Um not to be rude but Who are you?"
???: "Huh you don't remember me Ruby? Its me Y/n your best friend since we were kids."
As Ruby listens to this she looks at Y/n and she was surprised to see her childhood friend again but he was a little taller than her and she quickly hides herself from him and goes to the bathroom and locked the door to see that her appearance changed again as she moe had horns on her forehead and her eyes were but but they were still silver which was a relief for her but she can sense the negativity

Ruby: "Go away leave me alone Im a monster!"
Y/n then sighed as he used the spare key and walked in the room as he did he looks at Ruby and kneels to her and brings her to a hug and she didn't know what to do or how to react but she hugged back and cried softly
Y/n: "I promise to be there for you Ruby and I ain't letting it go of that promise."
Y/n said as she smiled softly but still cried heavily on his chest
