When we went back to school when we were finally together we were really really shy. We didn't hold hands until the next day and when we did I lit up inside. I was finally happy that I had her. We were keeping it secret from our friends but we failed miserably. They would ask if it was a "thing" but we denied it. We wanted to wait and let our friends find out for themselves, and of course they did. So, after a month or so we finally decided to kiss. It was VERY awkward because I just stood there as she kissed me. (I freaked out on the inside and froze) My mind was going so fast. I couldn't believe she kissed me! The love of my life!
