((I'm writing this one as I listen to music to see if I can make a story from the notes and how I feel. If you don't like it, please please please tell me!! Thanks for reading!!)
As she stands on the edge of the grasses, the sharp rocks down below, he reaches out to touch her. He whispers into her ear and pulls her close. She doesn't believe in him, but he's there. He's always been there, begging her to stay, needing her, haunting her. His words through her ears and mind echo for days, painting her to the core.
His name is Lucas. This is his story, not hers. He guides her, guards her, yet she tries to escape him daily. He can't blame her for running, yet it angers her when he finds her again. Don't run, my angel, my song bird, I'll cage you again.
"Just let me go!!" He remembers that as clear as day. The last words he heard her say. He feels like a fool now.
That was the day she jumped and earned her wings. They weren't heaven sent. I have failed her. Forgive me, my song bird, for my love has vanquished you. Forgive me, my song bird, for I am to follow you. Forever.
Lucas had folded his wings and fallen behind her. And angel died that night protecting who he had loved, for his love blinded him.
Forgive him, father, for he has broken himself. For he has sinned.
