It's the first day of school, and as always, everyone's nervous. I twirled my reddish brown hair. Even i was nervous, but the same way most girls would think. 'Will be in the same class as my friends?', is what most girls my age would think, but what i wanted the most, was to be in the same class as Scott. That's usually what everyone doesn't want because he's the "toughest guy" in school. Everyone's scaried of him, he's mostly at the rooftop by himself. There are rumors of him almost killing a guy, and that he got arrested several times, no one wants to mess with him, not even the seniors. We're in our second year of highschool, so everyone is around 16 or 17 years old or so. Our school is a public school called Kelaorn, yet most people wear their uniforms anyway, as do I. We're known for our diligent hard work, but of course not everyone's like that.
"SARAH!!!~" I heard someone screaming my name. "Sarah, I have great news!" It was my friend Katherine, but we call her Katie for short. She always has her long curly red hair tied up in a ponytail, along with her big innocent emerald green eyes shinning. She was sometimes over-dramatic, but it made her fun to be around. She also had that cheerful look, and that made her kinda popular. She always denies it, but everyone knows it's true.
"What is it?"
"We got in the same class! And… heeheehee, Scott is also in the same class as us~"
I blushed a shade of pink. "Really?!" I think i got a little to eager, just a little.
"Mmhm~" She had that smile as if she wanted to tease me and make me blush deeper. I told my crush only to her. I don't think anyone else knows about it. She's my best friend and she supports me even though she is scared of Scott too.
I made a sigh of relief. "that's great, so that means getting closer to him will be a little easier for me." I smiled and wasn't looking at where I was going. I bumped into someone. It was Scott.
