Not being able to see each other was hard. Especially because the kids in college seemed smarter compared to Dolph & Space Kid. They were in the same classes every day & not being recognizable, the two brushed their encounters as 'that one guy who looks oddly familiar to someone who you once knew.' It wasn't until they had a group project where they could actually remember each other.
"So..." Dolph began. "Vhere are ju from?" He said flipping through some papers. "Florida." Space Kid answered. "That's funny." Dolph chuckled. Space Kid raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Why is that funny?" He asked curiously. "Vell ju see, I had a friend who I knew from summer camp who lived in Florida." Space Kid chuckled. "That is pretty funny! What's his name?" Dolph thought for a moment. "Vell, his name I zhink vas 'Neil' but he didn't go by zhat at camp." Space Kid was now all ears. "What did he go by?" He asked. Dolph laughed a bit. "He vent by 'Space Kid' und screamed about space at zhe top of his lungs vhen ve vere jounger." Space Kid raised an eyebrow. "Hmmm...that's even more funny!" He laughed. "Vhy's that?" Dolph asked. "Because my name is Neil but I went by Space Kid when I was younger, & I screamed about Space all the time!" He smiled. "I also had a friend named 'Dolph' who had a German accent! Just like you do!"
Dolph's eyes widened & he suddenly became more suspicious. "Vhat camp did ju go to?" Space Kid felt the tension in the room. He stuttered in his words. "Uhmmm...Camp Campbell?" He said. "Space Kid, it's me! Dolph!" Dolph responded excitedly. Space Kid smiled back. "Yay!" He ran up to hug Dolph. Dolph returned the hug & smiled.
