The team was just done with joker, they had to accept he wasn't (y/n) anymore. Joker was just too far gone and that's how he liked it anyway.
The Joker was in his new cell in an atlas prison when he heard alarms and screams of pain
Joker: my oh my, those two are fast.
In no time the two new "supervillains" were in front of his cell and he was a giggling mess.
Joker: I'm so proud!
Cat woman: No time for chitchat, let's get you out of here!
She claws through the bars easily and the three made their escape. They were able to loose the guards in the forest and joker was laughing as always.
Joker: That was marvelous!
Emerald: she takes off her mask Yeah I guess so.
Joker: Now that I'm out, I'm going my own way.
Mercury: No, we're taking you back to Salem!
Joker: Like hell you are!
The two goons were ready to fight Joker until with just the push of a button bombs go off in the entire area. The bombs, joker gas, filled the bodies of the two.
Joker: how disappointing, you don't think I would've known?! I'M THE DAMN JOKER! AND THE JOKER DOES WHAT HE PLEASES
Joker smiles and starts to slowly peel the stitches that Salem stuck to him. He ripped at himself and it was extremely and he began to laugh and scream in agony. Unfortunately, that scream got the attention of a familiar hyper girl. She hid behind a tree, she was horrified at the sight. Joker was finally done, he was tired, so tired he was kneeling down panting. Nora took this chance to approach him.
Nora: (y/n), is it you?
Joker: oh, it's Nora, the annoying one.
Nora: Is that all you remember?
Joker: No, I still have your sweater, let me ask you something.
Nora: what is it
Joker: Will you be my Harlequin?
Nora: Your what?
Joker: I want you to be with me, think about it.

Small flashback

Nora was with her team, they just heard that the joker escaped with two people. They were pissed, sad, and just confused but they all had to accept the effect that (Y/n) was gone.
Juane: I can't believe he's gone
Nora: What If he isnt, I mean he remembered Ruby.
Juane: That's crazy he bit off some of your ear!
Ren: He's right we just have to let him go.
Nora: N-no, I still love him
Ruby: WHAT?!
JUANE: WHAT?!

Nora looked hurt and she just ran off, the team tried to catch up but they already lost her. Nora was tired, she didn't know where she was until she heard someone screaming and with instinct she ran towards it. When she arrived she saw him she saw (Y/n).

Joker: Think about it, The clown Prince of crime needs his queen.
Nora: Alright, I love you (Y/n)
Joker: I love you too, but we're going to have to do something about you.
Nora: What do you mean?
Joker: I'll show when we get there

Joker and Nora traveled to Vale, it was a quiet journey but, joker had a plan. He knew that the regular joker gas would kill her so he thought if she jumped in the liquid chemicals as well, she would be like him. Jokers words were true he did love her but he couldn't be too careful around her. When the two got to the factory he had to make sure.

Joker: Relationships are built in trust no? Do you trust me?

Joker smiles and they hug, then joker jumps into the chemicals along with Nora. The odd couple soon drains out of the vat and are outside.
Nora: W-whats happening
Joker: Becoming my Harley Quinn
Joker hugs her again as they both begin to laugh.
