"So uh, your Alice, right? Im Elle."

"Hi, Bella has never spoken about you before. Im Alice Cullen, nice to meet you." She smiles and goes to shake my hand. I immediately back up. Her smile falters.

"Yeah, dont touch me." I say with a smile. As I say this, Jake chuckles in the background. "Why are you here again?"

"Jacob told Edward I was dead."  Bella explains. "And now he wants to kill himself."

"Thats what we want. Vampires suck." I laugh.

Both the vampire and Bella glare at me. Oops they did not find that funny.

"You went go see a vampire!" Paul yells at me. He showed at my house because I wasnt answering. I understand that hes worried about Victoria, but him and I are not in the best of places.

"No. I went go see Bella. And a vampire was there."

"They're dangerous Elle." I roll my eyes. His anger doesn't scare me, but I know it should. "Don't go around them."

"You don't get to tell me what to do. Sorry but we are not together anymore."

"Really? Thats what your going to turn this into? Victoria is out there and you're acting like Im a jealous boyfriend."

"Blah blah blah. You want to protect me. Whatever you think you can do to protect me, Jacob was there. He has the same strength as you." Paul takes a deep breath and takes a step towards me.

"Look. I dont want to fight about this."

"Okay well-what?" He has never been the one to back out of an argument what is this?

"I want you to be in my sight. Not because I want to control you, but because you're my imprint. I want to keep you safe. Now can you stop being mad at me? I didnt tell you about the imprint thing because I knew it would freak you out." This was the most I have ever him talk about his feelings ever. He has never said anything relating to his feelings to me. "Can we just act like we did before we had our fight?"

I debate it. He wasnt technically lying about our imprint, he just never told me about it.

"Okay, whatever."

He smiles. Wow such a rare sight.

"You wanna go to Sam's?"

"Sure" I roll my eyes.

Paul drives us there, and Im not surprised to see most of the boys there.

"Hey guys." I say as Paul and I sit down, me on his lap.

"And they're back together. Who would've thought?" Jared questions.

"Yeah yeah say what you want." Paul states sarcastically. I laugh at the both of them.

We spend the rest of the day together and try to forget that Bella is currently bringing vampires back to Forks. Its not like we dont have enough already.

We end up watching a movie. However, movies bore me, and I ended up falling asleep on Paul. Shocker.

When, he wakes me up its around ten. I'm not surprised they watched three movies in a row.

"Babe, you want to go to your house or?"

"Yeah..." I mumble as I start to fall asleep again. Like the servant he is, Paul picks me up and brings me to the car.

Im woken up again by flashing lights. I squint my eyes and see that its coming from police cars at my house.

"Paul whats going on?"

"Stay in here, okay? Ill be right back."

As soon as he gets out the car, I start to freak out. There's yellow tape over the doorway to the house and looking at it makes my stomach drop.

"Elle, I can't. I dont know how to tell you this." Paul looks scared and in turn that makes me scared.

"Its my dad. What happened to my dad?"

"Your dad he- Victoria killed him. Im sorry." He pulls me into his lap. I cant move and I can barely think. My father did not deserve to get caught up in this mess. The tears start coming and they dont stop.

"This is the Cullen's fault. They brought her here." I sob. "She wouldn't have been here without them."

"I know. We'll deal with that. I promise." I grab onto him tightly and bury my face. My father got killed because of Bella and her stupid vampires. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Sheriff Swan coming out of my house.

I push myself into my seat. "Leave."

"But Elle-"

"Go."

He pulls out of the driveway and begins to drive away.

Im going to kill Bella Swan.

Okay. I think thats the end of tbe first book. This was supposed to just be the backstory of whats going to happen in the second book which is why its all over the place but hopefully you liked it enough to read the second. Who am i kidding this book has 51 reads.
