It was one of those cold afternoons that Death City rarely gets, it's in Nevada after all. because of this, a certain Weapon/Meister pair decided to stay in their apartment for the day.
'So fucking cold...' Soul thought, shivering under his covers. His bed wasn't as comfy as it looked. It only managed to keep him from getting hypothermia. And to top it all off, their heater was broken. He'd kill for anything to warm him up.
"Soul! food's ready!" Maka called out. Grumbling, he got out of his
not-so-warm bed, and made his way downstairs.
"Unless you made curry or hot chocolate, I'm not hungry."
Maka looked at him,
"Well, I made peanut butter sandwiches and hot chocolate,"
Soul whipped his head towards her and gazed hungrily at the plate of food she was carrying,
"That works," He said as Maka put down the plate infront of him.
Just as he was about to take a bite, with the sandwich inches away from his gaping mouth, he noticed Maka was staring at him.
"Um Maka, why are you looking at me like that?" He questioned.
Maka seemed to come back from whatever trance she was in and blushed and looked away.
"I wasn't!" She poorly lied.
"Ookaay, sure." Soul responded, obviously unconvinced. But he let it drop since there was a peanut butter sandwich, inches away from a very hungry mouth.
