When I arrived Kathleen said she was still at school so I decided to head to CeCe's! When I walked in and took a seat I heard a familiar voice. I turned to see her looking at me. Olivia. She still looked as beautiful as usual. I immediately told them to go. I walked when someone stopped me.
Olivia pov
I saw him walk out so I went after him. "Elliot what did I do?" "You did nothing. I'm just really busy!" I knew he was lying. "Elliot I know your lying. Come on come eat with me." "You mean us?" "Yeah whatever!" "No I don't want to intrude." "Intrude no Brian has to leave anyway! Please?!" Then Brian came out. "Bye babe. Love you!" we kissed and I felt bad for Elliot. Then me and Elliot walked into the cafe. We took a seat at the booths. "So how have you been Elliot?" "I'm fine. You?" "I'm great. So how's Kathy?" he looked around as if trying to think of a reason. "Umm...Were divorced. She lives in Rhode Island. She's got a new husband and is good." I could see that it hurt him to talk about her so I changed the subject. "Uh do you want to go to lunch tomorrow or dinner?" "Uh yeah sure!" "Alright well I have got to go I will see you tomorrow. Here?" "Yeah why not." we hugged and said goodbye. It felt good catching up with Elliot. Then again it felt weird because it feels like we just met but we didn't. And it was odd how he 'didn't want to intrude'? Like what the hell!
Elliot pov
It was nice hanging out with Olivia but it didn't feel right. It felt like I was intruding her life. I should just cancel on her. Wait I didn't get her number. I turned back around and looked for her. I couldn't find her anywhere. I searched the parking lot looking for her. Ugh! We ran into each other! "Oh my God Elliot I'm so sorry!" Olivia shrieked. "Its fine I was actually looking for you!" I said. She looked at me confused. " Why?" she asked. "Well so we could exchange numbers." I finally got it off my shoulders. "Oh uh sure. 512-6749! Yours?" she asked. "Oh mines 310-4537." I said and she gave me a warm smile. "Well I better head back to work. See you tomorrow!" she said. "Yeah see you tomorrow." I said screaming internally. As I drove to pick up Kathleen, I kept thinking about my old job. I missed it but I knew I could never earn it again. For whatever reason I kept also thinking of all the times me and Olivia had. About Babs! It made me chuckle. I just hope me and Olivia can start fresh. Brand-new. I really did.

When I arrived at work Nick pulled me aside. I thought this was strange?! "Hey Olivia can we go grab a bite tonight or something?" he asked. "Um I am not sure what to say. Um sure why not. Brian busy tonight anyway..." I said. "Great see you at 6:45?" he asked. "Yeah." I answered. When I went back to my desk we had a body found stuffed inside someone's suitcase. I had to go check it out with Nick. When I was grabbing my coat, Nick did a friendly gesture, (or so i think), of grabbing my coat and putting it on me. He was such a sweet guy. When we got in the car Nick offered to drive. I was done! I turned to face him. "Alright what is up with you Nick?" I asked curious as to what his answer was going to be. "Ok you caught me." he said. I raised an eyebrow. "What?" I asked. "I like you Olivia. I love you but I already know your with Brian and as long as your happy, I'm happy." I was shocked as to what he just said. I stood there mouth open wide ready to scream. "Nick there would never be anything between us. I'm sorry I don't date my partners." I said plainly. I was not ready for what he said next. "Well that's not what they say about you and that scumbag Elliot." He remarked triumphantly. "What who says that?" I asked. I wanted to find out who the real scumbag was!
