The Calling

Chapter Five

Awaken by the rays of the sun gaping in through a gap on the side of the wall. My eyes burst open fill by water that was covering the floor. " What happened, Ah my head is killing me." I tried to move my hand over to the back of my head, to notice that I was tied up on the floor in a puddle of water. I struggle for a few minutes but i managed to get up on my knees. I took a quick glance to my left and right, " No ones here, but i was just with Blake and Andre. Damn it, the last thing i remember is coming out of that tunnel, was i betrayed did they set me up? Damn it."
The wind whistling through the cracks and birds chirping were cancelled out by the sound of a door crashing open. A tall man in a suit walked in, it was to dark to see his face. " Who are you? Where are we?" i yelled at him. He simply laughed, " You find yourself asking that a lot recently haven't you." you could feel the shock on my face, " It cant be Andre is that you? So I was betrayed." He neither confirmed or denied it. All that was given was a sinister smile.
The was i could only see his smile in this darkness was sending chills down my spine. His smile quickly disappeared, the room was filled with a dark eerie feeling. He turn around an shut the door, " What more can I go through?, how long have i been here? I can't feel my arm, I must have been laying down for some time." Faint sounds of what seemed to be a town flowed threw the cracks, sounds of cars, horns honking, engines revving. I wondered if i screamed would anyone be able to hear me. All of a sudden I heard a gasp for air and loud thud, I turned to see what it could have been. " There's nothing here." I said to myself, but in a gentle, faint voice I heard a woman say, " You cant really think I'm nothing, can you? I'm the one who helped you escape."
I immediately turned looking all around, " Where is she? Blake is that you?" I managed to stand up. Water dripped off my body, I began shaking from the cool breeze that crept in through the cracks in the wall. I heard another loud thud and I looked to my side and saw Blake unconscious, her arms and legs tied up. " Blake!" I shouted, I tried to hop over to her, i managed to get a few hops in until i toppled down. Into the water I went face down, everything went blurry. Everything was getting dark, everything started to get quiet. I felt myself fading, Is this the end I thought to myself, I'm I going to die.
As my eyes began to shut all i could hear was the sound of a door creaking open, the foot steps of someone walk in. I could feel ripples in the water due to someone walking through, but I thought to myself who is here? Is that man back? All of a sudden i felt myself being lifted up, I managed to lift my head up to see its him Andre. He puts me up to the wall and i see him lift up Blake, he puts her beside me and begins to untie her, once he finished he started to untie me. Filled with anger I balled my hand into a fist and just took a quick swing at him. Shockingly he just stood there and took it, " Why did you tie us up and kidnap us? Where are we? Who are you?" The anger building up in me took too much of a toll on me and I lost consciousness. I woke up when i felt a splash of cold water hit my face. I looked up and saw Blake smiling at me and Andre standing in the back, I intensely stared at him with anger in my eyes, but with a slight touch to my should Blake instantly relaxed me. She sat a plate on my legs and with a comforting smile she said "eat you need your strength." I looked at the plate and began eating it wasn't much, some stale bread cold eggs and a piece of ham. Andre in a scolding tone said " Maybe if you hadn't passed out it would be warm."  Blake looked over and him with a murderous look in her eye, which cause him to turn and look through a window he was beside. I began eating the cold food trying to stomach as much as i could, " So where are we now? And why were we tied up?" Her smile went away and she simply said, " Don't worry about that right now, just get your rest and ill explain it all after that."
