i think to myself as hes still kissing me, omgomgomg brandon fkn rogers is kissing me holy sh-, but then he gets up and says 'maddie you're amazing, beautiful, and basically what i'm saying is that words can't express how much you mean to me, and everyone here at this waterpark. we all love you a ton.' i start to cry, again. i say 'brandon i'm sorry i shouldn't of told you, im so so sorry' then he shushes me and says 'maddie you're fine, i actually have something really important to talk about after we're done swimming' it was kind of silent after he said that, then to break the silence i yell 'LAST ONE IN THE POOL IS A ROTTEN EGG' we all jump in the pool except alex, he was too busy taking a selfie. we're all swimming, just having a good time. then we finally wrap it up and brandon takes me to his place to talk about that important thing. we sit down on his couch and he kinda looks around, as if hes lost something. he finally sits down and he sits very close to me. he says to me 'okay maddie well first of all happy 18th birthday you can smoke weed legally now!' i laugh. then he says 'okay but seriously um well to say the least, i meant that kiss, it wasnt just to make you happy, that was real' i say 'well i guess i could say the same, i just didnt want to make you feel uncomfortable' brandon replies with 'yeah i guess i like you (he says it in sort of a question) but we would have to keep it secret' i say back 'okay, deal'
