The Soldier in a New World

Chapter 5

A couple of months passed by and i finally got my first mission it was a solo where i would be deployed on Antarctica to destroy equipment and weapons from a well know terrorist group named Dark Fighters these terrorists have been massacring the population destroying important monuments, blowing up houses, killing civilians with no mercy and reeking havoc all around the globe.

This mission will be off the records like before a Black Ops mission i had everything ready heading towards the plane as i arrived to the cargo plane i saw Alpha standing next to the entrance i saluted ''Alpha are you here to see me off'' she was stiff and imposing dominance, with a little fear in the mix ''I hate the way your going alone but most teams are doing other missions or not qualified for this i hope to hear from you in a month tops if not...'' i cut her off by cupping her cheeks ''Alex ill be fine don't worry ill be back before you know it'' i knew she was trying to be professional i took off my dog tags handing them to her ''Ill be back for those so keep them safe until i'm back she held tight to them nodding ''Ill stay here expecting your return good luck soldier'' she saluted while i pulled into a hug ''I've done hundreds of missions this is nothing like the others'' she nodded as i walked inside.

With an eight hour flight i decided to plan for the first two hours reading the camp information, what they were transporting and how many hostiles they had, looking at the map i saw the perfect spot for my viewing point, i cheeked my ammo cleaned my guns a sniper and the AK/Honey badger variant with them now cleaned and assembled i counted my MRE's and the rest of my gear with everything set i sat back down sleeping the rest of the way. I was awoken from the intercom the pilot telling me it was time for me to parachute out grabbing my things and placing the parachute on i walked to the ramp that opened with the red light still on, a copilot pilot came in checking to see if everything was placed correctly giving me a thumbs up ''Good luck Soldier'' i nodded and waited for the green light i closed my eyes and waited for the buzz a picture of the three wolves that have been helping me with this new life, i was snapped out of my conscious as the light was now green running towards the ramp i jumped out aiming for the forest near the camp a couple of moments later i pulled the shoot trying not to draw any attention to this area as i hit the ground hiding the parachute, with that task done i looked at the map where the circled area was getting my bearings right i started walking in its direction arriving at the spot with the moonshine lighting the forest and the camp that currently had four guard around the perimeter 'ill just kill everyone and destroy the objective'.

One week later i had traps set up near the camp it was currently midnight they had the same patrols every day nothing really changing thing was they had two rhinos, a lion, a fox and two wolves they all were heavily armed and had constant guards, the fox was the one in charge as he always gave out orders, i successfully placed bugs around the camp so i could hear what they said. Week two, Wednesday the fox announced that they would moving tomorrow morning to deliver the cargo today ill finish this mission i'm sick of eating MRE's, night was quick to arrive i got into position aiming my sniper riffle taking aim at one of the rhinos slowly pulling squeezing the trigger the silencer reduced the noise by a big margin as the bullet went straight trough the rhino's head i aimed towards the south of the camp where the other rhino was taking him out as well, i got up from my position heading inside the camp with my suppressed assault riffle taking out the two wolves i went over to the supplies placing the explosives in them i turned around being tackled to the floor by the lion he pinned me down slashing my chest leaving a very deep cuts in my body grunting in pain i headbutted the lion getting him off he quickly got up taking out his side arm shooting me in the leg twice with the adrenaline coursing through my body i didn't feel a thing shooting the lion twice in the head and killing the fox that came out with a rocket launcher with everyone dead i placed the rest of the charges leaving the camp a managed to walk mid way to my camp blowing the charges up everything being destroyed in the process with the adrenaline now gone my chest and left leg burned with pain making me fall in the snowy ground slowly loosing consciousness everything going black ''Its not your time to die yet Silver'' a female voice called out making me wake up, i was in a bright white room with nothing in it ''So if its not my time to die yet how am i in this weird dimension'' i asked the female voice ''That is true you are currently dead from your wounds but you did succeed in your mission'' the female voice finally showing herself ''I am the Moon Goddess or the wolf goddess i'm here to help you heal and become an animal like the others so you can fit into this world'' i was shocked hearing this my thoughts went over to Alex, Ulva and Linda they would be devastated if they knew i was dead ''But if i turn into an animal how will i tell my friends and how will they believe me'' she just smiled making me relax ''They will know when you explain to them, now which animal would you like to be?'' a smile appeared on my face ''I think the almighty Moon Goddess knows'' making her laugh ''Yes i do know my sweet Silver i just want you to say it'' i nodded and began ''I would like to be a wolf you may choose the color of my fur all i want is to keep my voice and silver eyes please'' she pulled me into her motherly embrace ''Once you wake up i'd like you to eat as two weeks have passed down on earth then all you have to do is go to the extraction point'' i nodded once again ''Before you send me back i am sorry for killing those two wolves i had to do it to protect other lives'' she just kept smiling ''Silver what you did was the right thing those two will have their trials once i'm done here now i must go'' i bowed down to her making her giggle ''Thank you for saving my life how can i repay you and will i ever see you again?'' the Moon Goddess looked into my eyes ''All i want from you is to keep doing what your doing and yes we will meet again until then just keep living your life'' with that she disappeared making me wake up, as i sit up i notice my black furry hands with some silver marks going up my arms making me chuckle, i stood up getting a little taller then before from being a wolf now the clothes still fit me well i noticed the two bullet holes on my left leg but no blood was there touching my chest i noticed that i had no pain but there was definitely a scar there with everything good to go i picked up my mask and guns heading to the camp eating three MRE's as i packed up everything with the information i gathered from the mission walking towards the airfield that was a two hour run as i had a tone of energy.
