I woke up, just like every other teenage boy, I ate like one, maybe even more so, talked like one, even experienced the heart break of doing homework.
But I always knew I was different. . .Especially when I turned into a huge wolf that could kill someone with the swipe of my paw.
My story starts out when I was much younger, I practically lived in the woods near my home, grew up with a big sister, who always loved and cared for me.
My father always told me these stories, of where the man would turn into a wolf, and protect his people from the Cold Ones. The Cold Ones were also known as Vampires, to put it simply.I never knew, after years of believing in the stories, that they would actually be true, after all this time. My sister would always tell me that since I was so young, I would believe anything the adults told me, no matter what, either way.
And she was right.
I respect my elders, just like she does, but she never believed the legends until the day had come for us to turn as well. The day we turned, was the day a little bit of me died inside. . .
My father died of a heart attack, as he was going to hunt with Mr. Swan. My father had told me, just as he was going out for the day, to take care of my mother and sister.
I guess he knew what was coming at the time. . .He always had this way of sensing things, . . . things that were about to happen, no matter what.
After weeks of finally getting my wolf form under control, greeting my new family, also known as the pack, and being there for my sister.
I went to my father's room for the first time in months. He always told me that his room held many secrets. One of those many secrets would help us in the future.
I came across his journal, after going through the many pictures he had kept. Pictures of the old pack members from long ago, and pictures of my ancestors, that weren't just shifters.
They were seers as well.In his journal, he wrote of his visions, saying that I too would experience these visions, on my 18th birthday.
He was right. . .
My first vision was horrifying. It showed many dead bodies. The dead bodies of my pack, my family, and many more innocent lives.
Death was something I always, some how, experience.
Like the death of my pet dog, my fish friend, and even a small bird that I named Fred.It was around the time Jacob decided to leave the pack.
He told me he needed to spend more time with his imprint. I trusted him, seeing as he was the alpha, and I never truly got the experience of having an Imprint. He was gone for a few days, and as Leah got worried, I did as well. The days then turned into weeks, so we came to a decision on visiting to see if he was alright, warning the other pack members of his disappearance.
We walked up to the Cullens house, worried and confused, only for the door to be opened by the well known Bella Swan Cullen.
She glared at us hatefully before she changed her expression completely, and called for the other vampires to come out, like we were hurting her, even though everyone knew it was impossible to hurt such a strong vampire as her.Just as she called the other Cullens, we took off in a sprint for our lives, hearing nothing but snarling and growling behind us.
Not a word was spoken as we made it to the other side of the treaty line. We didn't slow our pace, and we most importantly didn't look back, staying in our wolf forms for protection against the suddenly changed Cullens.
