Lonely Thanksgiving

Adrien's P.O.V

As you all may be aware, my father, Gabriel Agreste has been very distant ever since my mom disappeared. Anyway, I'm usually on my own for Thanksgiving, but I wanted to ask my father if maybe he'd join this year.

Of course, his response was; "No Adrien. I am very busy and do not have time to rest. Please go, I have many things to do." I shut the door and went back to my room. Plagg did his best to comfort me but I just wanted to get out of this house.

"Plagg Claws Out!" My body was now covered in black leather and my face was concealed with a mask, followed by cat ears and a tail. I jumped roof to roof. But to be honest I had nowhere to go. Then I noticed Marinette, she looked like she was going somewhere. Curious, I followed her.

She went to an alleyway and transformed. Ladybug popped out seconds later, I needed to know what was going on. I followed close behind until she stopped right in front of my home. "I wonder if kitty's here. The author wants both of us. Hope he's not busy."

Before she jumped toward the window that I so carelessly forgot to close, I yelled; "Wait m'lady!" She turned around and let out a sigh of relief. "Whew I thought I was gonna have to go through your dad!" At the mention of my father, my cat ears drooped. My lady must have noticed it because she walked over and began to pet me. "Did something happen between you and him again Adrien?" I nodded before she guided me over to a stone to sit.

"Do you want to tell me?" I thought about it, we were together and she told me she'd help me any way she could. Plus whenever I was down, she could always cheer me up. "I wanted to spend Thanksgiving with my father since I usually spend it alone but like always he shot me down. I just wanted to spend time with him."

Ladybug patted my back before her transformation let go. In her place was my dear, sweet, beautiful, amazing, gorgeous girlfriend, Marinette. She held me close in her arms, "Adrien you don't have to spend the holidays alone anymore remember? You have friends who are your family and we'd be glad to celebrate Thanksgiving with you. Ok?"

Her words warmed my heart, I gave her a kiss on the head to show my gratitude. She chuckled before pulling out a letter addressed to both her and me. "The author @Shipping_lover , wants us to come over for Thanksgiving. Want to kitty?" I immediately jumped for joy. Marinette transformed motioning for me to follow. "Come on everyone else is waiting!"

I was slightly confused, everyone else? When we got there my questions were answered, the whole team was there. Ladybug then proceeded to walk over to a section of the brick alleyway and insert a black and red spotted key. She turned it to the right and said, "The characters wish to visit the world of Authors. The characters of Miraculous Ladybug."

Immediately the wall shined and there stood a door covered in orange and grey with gold borders. "Alright everyone let's head on! The author is waiting for us!" Everyone else went on in until it was just me and Ladybug. "C'mon kitty! Let's go celebrate." Before we walked through the portal I pulled her back. "What is it, Adrien?" I knelt down and gave her a huge hug. "Thank you. My love." Ladybug just giggled, "anytime Adrien, like I said you're not alone anymore."

We stayed like that for what seemed like an eternity until; "HEY! Let's go lovebirds! You can hug and kiss after we get to the Author's home!" The two of us sweatdropped before hopping on in through the portal. "I'm glad their together but seriously they act like it's some drama. Sheesh even me and Nino aren't that lovey. Ugh, soulmates, whatever shall we do with you?."
