My name is Carlisle Leon Wonka, but some people know me as 'Willy Wonka Jr.' because I look a lot like my dad. I am 13 years old and I don't have many friends.

"Well Son," Dad says as he walks into the room, "I have an idea to open the factory again." I looked at him confused.

"Really? Why now? No one has been here in years. Well besides you, me and the Oompa Loompas." I say with a shrug.

"I know Kiddo, but this could be your chance to make some friends. Isn't that fun?" Dad said with a chuckle and I awkwardly nod. He smiles at me and ruffles my hair causing me to roll my eyes.

~Time skip~

I'm helping Dad get flyers out to the public that he's opening up the factory to 5 lucky kids that find a golden ticket in a Wonka Bar.

"How long is this 'contest' going to be open for Dad?" I ask doing air quotes around the word contest.

"Long enough Car. Trust me." Dad says with a smile. I side smile back.

A little while later Dad and I are watching the news to see if anyone has found a ticket.

"Anything yet?" I ask an Oompa Loompa who just shakes his head. "I wonder if anyone's actually taking this seriously." I say under my breath as I sit on the floor next to the Oompa Loompa.

"Carlisle!" I hear Dad call.

"Coming," I call back before looking back at my buddy. "Be right back." I tell him and he nods and waves. 'These guys don't talk much,' I thought 'kinda creepy.'

"How are you feeling about this whole thing Son?" Dad asked as I walked up to him.

"Honestly," I take a deep breath "kinda nervous." I say looking away from my Dad with my hand on the back of my neck.

"Don't worry Car, you'll make so many friends after this is all over." Dad winks at me.

'Is me making friends all he cares about?' I think to myself.
