When 8 a.m. rolled in, i could all ready hear the foot steps of Miss. Hazel coming to make sure i was up. "Mae! Get up! You have to meet with Rey remember?!" Grumbling, i pulled the covers over my head, hoping that she'll let me sleep in. But i knew it was false hope. When i heard the bedroom door open i mentally braced myself. "Come on girly, out of bed." She said as she pulled the covers off of me and setting them in a chair. "I'll make you breakfast, you get ready." I sighed when the door closed shut. Reluctantly getting out of bed, i thought about what i had to do today. At 10 i had an appointment with Rey Danes, my psychiatrist. No I'm not crazy. Something happened when i was younger. I've been diagnosed with amnesia, i have no memory of what happened. The problem is that i have dreams, sometimes I'll have the same one for days on end and sometimes I'll have a completely new dream.
After getting ready for the day i head downstairs, taking deep breaths as i do. The fresh smell of pancakes and bacon filled the air making my mouth water and stomach grumble. Miss Hazel is an amazing cook. Miss Hazel was a 5,6" woman in her mid 30s with shoulder length blonde hair and green eyes. She let me live with her as long as i help out around the house. She's really nice but hurt her or the ones she loves and she make you wish you never crossed paths with her. "Morning miss Hazel." I greeted her, taking a seat at the counter. "Morning Mae. How'd you sleep?" She replied. "Good. You?" "I slept fine." Smiling she set a plate of food in front of me. Digging in, i took a moment to enjoy it. The pancakes were warm, fluffy, and sweet. The bacon was cooked to perfection. Crispy and smokey. "Hazel your cooking always tastes like it's been blessed by God!" Miss Hazel laughed shaking her head. "Thank you. It's my mothers recipe." After breakfast we both headed out the door. We walked around for a bit, got some coffee and just hung out. But soon we had to go our separate ways for the day. Miss Hazel owns a few restaurants in the city, hence her amazing cooking skills. I was a volunteer. I help out where ever they need me. My main places, though, was the animal shelter/vet and the Library. I didn't have to be there till later. Right now I'm n my way to my psychiatrist. I used to have a therapist but apparently my case is a little more complex than we had originally thought. So now I'm going to meet my new doctor, Dr. Rey Danes.
*Le time skip because I'm lazy*
Sitting in the waiting room was the worst. I sat there for a good 10 minutes bored out of my mind. You could only imagine the joy that went through my body when the receptionist led me into a office. It was fairly large and well furnished. The seats were big and comfortable, when i sat in one, i felt so relaxed. When the doctor came in i jumped slightly. "Good morning. I'm Dr. Danes but you can call me Rey if you'd like." As i looked over at him my heart skipped a beat. Rey looked to be in his early twenties. He had slightly wavy dark brown hair with forest green eyes, round glasses, and freckles covering his face. 'oh god this guy is gorgeous!'
