BINDING
lots of transgender males love the idea of having a flat chest. but make sure you're doing it the right away! never — ever — use bandages to bind. it was proven that it can damage your rib cage and cause bruising around the upper part of your chest.
now, alot of you are probably wondering 'what is a safe way to bind?' let me explain!
make sure that your binder fits appropriately around the upper parts of your chest. never pull your binder over your hips! if it is tugging at your skin or hurts to wear, it is not a feesable binder and you should get a new one. wear your binder for only six hours a day and do not use it for excersize! a nice, comfortable binder with the appropriate standards listed above would do perfectly for you!
if you would like a binder but do not currently have one/cannot afford to get one, let me assist you in making a diy binder! but if you do, please do not use ace bandages or duck tape! instead, simply do the following:
1) get a swim suit from your closet
2) cut off the bottom half of the swimsuit [if it is a onepiece!]
3) fold the fourth of the swimsuit upwards, making the swimsuit look like it is split in a half
4) fold upwards again, leaving only a place for your arms
5) stitch and wear!step-by-step paper example:
