Ch. 1 Voices
"Vanessa, come on Vanessa do it" make them stop, make them stop! Their always telling me what to do, and who to kill. Kill him, kill her they won't stop! I can't take it anymore, i just can't! "Vanessa, Vanessa" Their back make them go away, make them leave.... please.
Ch 2 Graduation
I woke up to a cold breeze blowing in from my slightly opened window, inhaling the fresh morning air trying to remember what I was supposed to do today. When I rolled over I was frightened to find my mom sitting right next to me, I wonder how long she's been sitting there... I didn't want to ruin the silence so I laid there looking at my white ceiling waiting for her to speak. I sat there for what seemed like 10 minutes my mom hadn't said anything so I thought i should... "Good morning mom" I say cheerfully. I was waiting for a reply and when i didn't get one i turn and she was gone, I felt kinda stupid. Now I remember I have to do to...GRADUATION is today! I totally forgot, I have to get dressed, comb my teeth, brush my hair... Oops I mean brush my teeth and comb my hair, its o.k. graduations not till 11 anyways its probably only like 8. Feeling hopeful I turned my head towards my alarm clock, see there's nothing to worry about its only...10 I have to get ready, she thought as she stormed out of her room.
"C'mon mom its time to leave I have to be there in 10 minutes!!!" I screamed at the house from my car. For graduation I thought I'd wear something elegant so I'm wearing a knee hight strapless black dress with a lair of sparkly cloth with matching high heels. For makeup I have jungle red lipstick and purple eyeliner and eye-shadow and some mascara. I think I look pretty good. Finally my mom arrived it was 8 minutes till graduation I start the car and as soon as my mom closed the car door we were out of the parking lot like a deer from a human. I was determined to get there on time i couldn't be late.
"And now for our valedictorian Vanessa Rain Jones!" Our school principals voice boomed from the microphones volume. *buzz* There was a faint buzzing noise in my ear it seemed like a bee and so i started flinging my hands around trying to smack it away. I stop when i noticed everyone was starring at me. Wow i just embarrassed myself in front of everyones parents and mine , i couldn't help blushing. When i got to the podium i forgot my cards for my speech, now I'm going to make a bigger fool of myself than i already am. My fellow classmates ... My speech ended with a "GO FALCONS" then my principal handed me my G.E.D i walked of the stage G.E.D in one hand and my fist held high in the other. *buzz* The buzzing noise was back I waited till no one could see me to look around for the bee and of course there is no bee. Well i was happy no one was there to see me acting like a fool this time. Oh i almost forgot i had to meet Taylor! I ran down a cold wet ally ( Its Taylor and mine's secret path ) everyone else is scared to go down there because somebody died in here.
It was 1956 a 17 year old girl named Elise was walking down this ally and supposedly a deranged man named Eric came out of no where and killed her. Eric says "they told him to" and "she deserved what she got she did bad things" but nobody ever found out who they were and what she did. Eric stabbed her in the chest 8 times and shaved her head completely bald. A 19 year old boy found her next morning, he called the ambulance. When they got there he was laying on the ground, they couldn't save him he had died 10 minutes before they got there, everyone thinks he died from heart attack, from the sight of her blood, me i think someone poisoned him or gave him a drug. People have been tracking this case for 50 years they could never find out what or who killed that boy. They think Eric killed him but, then Eric killed himself the next day so they lost there only suspect they gave up on the case 6 weeks later. In my free time i've been looking into it , i started doing this in 10th grade. I visit his grave and go over his life stile, looking into his family, and narrowing down suspects. I haven't found out anything yet but trust me i will..
At the end of the dark ally there's a long wood fence whenever you jump over it your right behind the cafe, of course you can go either left or right if you want but, i find it stupid. Well of course i can get in a heap of trouble for jumping the fence but, Taylor and I never get caught. While im jumping i see Taylor through the back window, she was supposed to leave high-school with me but she got held-back because she was to focused on men and not work. You'd think with a friend like me that she would pass with an A average but, nope she failed almost every class besides Physical Ed. So she's been waiting in the cafe for the past hour, when i walk in i see taylor sitting next to a guy wearing a blue shirt and jeans.I see Taylor bat her eyes and flip her hair ( her typical move ) "Vanessa..."A strange voice called "Hey Taylor" I called back to the voice, i guess she didn't hear me. I started walking over there i stopped when i noticed that was my boyfriend she was talking to. She was flirting with him how could she, all these questions started racing through my mind... Does he really love me? Is she ganna steal him from me? Would he let her? Does... Someone interrupted my thinking, i looked to see who it was and i noticed that i was standing right next to Taylor and Nick. " Hey Vanessa you were zoning of we tried bringing you back like 3 times what's wrong?" She acted worried when i knew she wasn't at all. "Hey sorry i zoned out so what are you guys talking about?" i asked trying to keep the jealousy out of my voice, it was really hard! "Just school and stuff don't worry its nothing." I wasn't worried until... Oh who am i kidding I'm trying not to turn my eyes green as it is! I told Nick to move over and then gave him a little kiss to remind Taylor he was mine, i didn't have to but i wanted to. " Ok ill take your word on it Tay" i lied it was hard not to smile, when i lie i cant help it. If they were strangers they'd believe me but of course they know i smile when i lie... Shoot! I was getting so annoyed i kept thinking about pouncing over the table and choking her. Of course i wasn't ganna well not in-front of all these people... Just kidding, just kidding im not ganna murder my best friend, what do you think i am? A murderer? Well im not... We sat there for the next hour discussing random stuff until i had to leave to meet my parents.
As i walked down the alley i started getting creeped out i felt like someone was watching me....... i started to walk faster and faster until i started running. Then something jumped out infront of me i couldn't help but scream. i didnt wanna diie today i didnt wanna get killed by a physcopath. i..... uhh stupid cat. It was just a black cat...
