Chapter 10

Chapter title- Neko

Misaki opened her eyes, she was in an unfimiliar place. She was in someone's house.

A girl with light pink long hair with red ribbons tied in between. A pair of two cat ears stuck up from her head and a tail in between her legs.

"You're awake!" She said brightly with a smile.

Misaki nodded still shocked by the sight. It was a similar sight of her when she was still young.

The girl smiled, "how's your head?" She asked. Misaki touched her bandaged head, "it's okay, but who are you?"

"My name is Natsumi and I'm generally a Neko," she said.

"A neko?"

"It's when your half cat like me!" She exclaimed. Misaki glanced at her hand, it had the same cat sign as she had.

"You have the same cat sign on your hand like me!" Misaki pointed at her hand and Natsumi narrowed her eyes.

"But only people with the neko alice have those signs?" Natsumi explained, flicking her hair back.

Misaki sighed, "I was born as a 'neko' but then when I was 8 it disappeared, here. Look at this." She pulled out her photo with the cat ears.

"Oh my! You look cute!" She exclaimed, "So i guess you attend alice academy?" Misaki nodded and Natsumi stroked her tail, "with the neko alice you can transform into a cat," Misaki gasped "transform into a cat!? That's awesome!" Natsumi chuckled and ruffled Misaki's hair.

"You're still really young! Anyways I should take you back to alice academy!"

"Just one more question. How do I use my alice?" Misaki asked.

"When you're ready it'll expose by it's own," the girl winked and Misaki smiled.

They walked out of the house. Or tree house.

"Eek! You live in a tree house!?" Natsumi nodded and jumped down from the current branch landing on all four paws.

She stammered and gazed down.

"Just jump down , the neko sign on your hand will sense what's going on and you'll land safely. Trust me!" Natsumi said.

Misaki gulped. It was a big fall but she did it anyways. She jumped.

But as she met the ground, her hands stretched out before her and she landed softly on te ground.

"Will I be able to visit you!?" Misaki stumbled onto her feet.

"Of course. I'll come visit soon! Now let's go!" Natsumi beamed with joy and she plopped on her hoody tucking her tail inside.

-While at Alice Academy-

"Misaki-chan!" Mikan Broke into tears, while Hotaru took out the Baka gun.

Sumire looked away, "she said she'll be right behind us!" Mikan sobbed harder as Narumi wrapped his hands round her. He glanced at Natsume who was now gazing off, but had a worried expression.

Narumi smiled. "You look worried Natsume," he smirked as Natsume turned bright red.

"Baka! I'm not why should I be worried about her!" He snapped. Narumi just laughed.

Natsume left. He walked outside, crossing his hands. Narumi was right. He was worried about her. But why?

"Natsume!" He glanced round. It was a familiar voice... Misaki!

He looked towards the gates, she was running towards him with a girl with cat ears and a tail behind her.

Misaki launched onto him tackling him with a hug, "glad everyone is okay!" She beamed. Natsume felt his face heat up, he pushed her off "Baka! Get off ugly!" He said coldly.

"Hey! Don't call me ugly!" She hit Natsume lightly.

"Bye-bye Misaki-chan! I better get going!" Natsumi leaped disappearing. Misaki waved with a smiled.

She noticed Natsume glaring at her, "Natsume..?" She cocked her head, "Baka. You said you'll be right behind us!" He hit her head.

"I had to stop them! But then I hit my head and that girl Natsumi helped me!" She explained.

"Fine. Everyone is worrying about you. So you better get back to class!" He dug his hands in his pockets.

"What about you? Aren't you going to class?" She asked, he glanced at her and shook his head, "you need to stop skipping class!" She chuckled and patted his hair making him flinch ever so slightly.

He liked her company. She was always confident but had her soft side. She was different from the others.

"Misaki-chan!" She noticed Mai beside her. She had her blonde hair tied into ponytails and her boots covered in small metal chains making it rattle as she walked.

"Mai!" Misaki wrapped her arms around Mai and may let out a chuckle.

"I heard you got kidnapped, but as I see you managed alright!" She patted her head.

Mai was a little taller than Misaki as Mai was a year older than Misaki. And she always wore high boots.

She stuck out her tongue and giggled, "of course! Tehehe!" Mai smiled, "well next time don't go running off into mischief without me! Well class is about to start so I better go" Mai walked off carelessly as she thumped her hoody onto her head.

She walked towards the classroom. Misaki glanced at her hand. The cat sign was still there. She wanted to be a Neko again. And see her dad...

"Hey. Flat-chest." She spun round. It was Natsume.

"Baka. Baka. BakaNatsume!" She said angrily.

"Aren't you suppose to be in class?" He asked raising his eyebrow.

"Well.. I'm just taking my time.." She sighed.

"Baka. I'll take you to class."

"Natsume," he started to walk towards class and she insisted on following him.

She fiddled with her crimson brown hair as he opened the door walking in emotionlessly. All eyes fell on her..
