—flashback from last chapter—

"Well then I suppose your temple isn't as misinterpreted as I thought it was. Have a good rest of the day Miss (L/n)." You blushed when you realized he didn't call you trouble, not this time. With his back facing you, awkwardly You grabbed your things and rushed out of the classroom with your heart in your throat and your mind missing the fact that you had forgotten one thing..your cell phone.

It's been almost three days since that incident in the first day of detention. Eversince then he hasn't done anything like that to you again, your phone completely forgotten but you just assumed it was lost in your dorm. You still arrived to detention, did your homework you received and no conversation would make a presence in the room. Missing the badgering between the two of you, it was short but fun.

Arriving for your poetry class you noticed a small bag with your name on it. You looked around to see if any of the students inside had left it but no such luck. You open it curiously and notice it's your phone, with a note attached to it.

'Next time don't forget your phone troublemaker.' - D

D? Whose d?

Shaking your head in confusion you place your phone in your backpack and continue on your history lessons. Opening your notebook, dodging Professor Bagans eyes as he would look at you once in a while you were writing some of your own poetry yourself.

'a void lingers inside my mind, his eyes pierced me and now I can do nothing but hide.'

Remembering the incident and the feeling of his body near yours made your heart race. Instead of showing his affect on you, you decided to write it in poetry. He really annoyed you but yet intrigued you and it was a strange feeling coming over you.

' warmth burning my skin like a roaring bonfire, my head can't contain the butterflies that is chasing my thoughts around like a forest fire'

'His presence walled up, but his body tough like concrete. I can't help but feel warmth seeping through his stone wall as if he is admitting defeat'

Professor Bagans was watching you every so often, trying to focus on his class at hand but he found you really entrancing. It felt like a strange pull you have over him and he didn't want to be pulled out of the water until he's caught you into his hook. After what felt like forever class was finally over, you tried to make a run for it without the hot professor catching you but your luck was ever so shitty. Or was it a blessing?

"Miss (last name)?" He sang mischievously. You froze in your place like a cartoon character who gets caught trying to escape.

Ah dammit

"Hmm?" You feign innocent.

"Aren't you forgetting something?" He places his hand on his chin as he smirks.

"I have no clue what you're talking about" you try to play dumb some more to see if he'll let you off the hook.

"Close the door and sit down now." His voice became stern and authoritative. You wanted to refuse and walk away with your head held high but something in his voice made you want to obey him. Shaking slightly as you close the door, shaking from fear or was that excitement..you couldn't admit which it was.

"Now what?" You reply trying not to let your voice crack. He moves so slow it's as if he was trying to creep you out as he points to a seat he placed in front of his desk.

"Sit"

"Do you enjoy Christmas little miss trouble?"

"What's it to you?"
